DeoxIT D5S-6 Spray, More Than A Contact Cleaner, 142g, Integrated Straw, Pack of 1

Excellent product, it restored my 1960s Leak amplifier when everything else failed. The adjustable delivery from the tin is a really useful feature. Although expensive, DeoxIt is worth the money.

Bought this as a last resort before putting my venerable 30 year old NAD 3130 amplifier in for repair. The amp has suffered from the right audio channel "drop out" for a considerable time. I sprayed all the moving parts inside the amp, volume/balance pots, switches, etc, worked them as per instructions. Lo and behold both channels now working perfectly with no background "noise". I also tried it on the volume control of a "face off" car stereo that has been very dodgy for a considerable amount of time - same result - now working perfectly. Although it is expensive for such a small can, it's a very inexpensive repair when compared to putting the amp to a specialist (I don't know what it would have cost......)

Works well

This is about double the cost of other contact cleaners, possibly because it is made in USA. However, it seems to be the one that is preferred by people restoring old electronics which have oxidised contacts because of its deoxidising action which may not be present in other contact cleaners. I don't have enough experience with it yet to be able to confirm that.

Expect great results every time, yes it’s expensive but it does the job perfectly. The only drawback is the nozzle application it does tend to leak so care is needed. Compared to other brands this one doesn’t leave a nasty sticky mess, and will clean the worst of contacts easily.

Brilliant stuff. Completely cured two electrical faults on switches. Had come close to throwing the items away but was told about this and thought I’d have one last attempt at repairing. So glad I did. Saved myself a fortune on new equipment. Highly recommend.

I was recommended this cleaner lubricator by an electronic specialist.It certainly quite expensive to buy, but boy does it work wonders!. 24 potentiometers on an old synthesiser most stuck and some seized, plus 12 switches that wouldn't even move, ALL brought back to full working order, with this spray. Absolutely delighted with the result.

I have no reason to doubt the fluid in the can, but the spray-tube is useless because it doesn't fit the nozzle on the can, so it's hard to direct the spray and it's messy to use.

Hands down reliable for radio restoration and repair as well as cleaner gor modern electronics

Ich war erst skeptisch wegen dem hohen Preis, habe mich aber dennoch zum Kauf entschieden und habe es nicht bereit. Ich hab mit dem Spray die Potis und Schalter einer 60 Jahre alten Gitarre wieder flott bekommen. Diese waren mitunter so verschmockt, dass einer der Tonabnehmer kaum zuschaltbar war. Ein zwei Sprüher und dann die Schalter ca 60mal hin und her. Seitdem schalten die Tonabnehmer wieder sauber durch. Ich bin begeistert
