Works well as long as you use it properly
This spray paint is specially formulated to adhere well to plastic, however it does require you to read the instructions properly. What other reviewers seem not to have realised is that the item you are painting must be as clean as possible. The can states that with new plastics you should wipe them down with paint thinner, although I have not tested this. I sanded down the plastic box I painted using progressively finer grits of superfine sandpaper (down to 8000 grit), which helped a lot. However, this may not be possible for all items you will spray. You also need to wash the item with mild detergent and, after doing this, avoid getting too many fingerprints on it before painting. Other than that, there is not a great deal to say about this product. It works well, giving a shiny and even black gloss finish, and is very good value for money here compared to other places I looked. It dries to the touch in 30 minutes and dries hard within 48 hours, and the can says you should paint extra layers within an hour or after 48 hours. If needed, it can be removed fairly easily by spraying the item with Fairy Power Spray, letting it soak for several hours and scrubbing using a brush of some sort (you may need to do this more than once).

Plastic Spray black
I used this paint for my Virgin Media box, it does the job pretty well, but the coverage not very good. Lets see how long will last.

Quality plastic spray paint
Really good plastic spray paint. Good coverage with 2 or 3 light coats. Durable finish. Good for tidying up weathered plastic window frames.

Better than expected
I bought this initially to paint a plastic belly pan on my motorbike. It worked well. I'm now using it to put some "colour" back onto my drain pipes which have faded with the sun. It coats well of you use a number of thin coats but you have to be careful not to apply too much or it will run. I've not tried it for anything that needs to look top notch as my spraying skills aren't that good so can't comment there. It dries with an ever so slight stickiness but that isn't a problem for what I needed it for.

It works!
This works!! I bought this to paint the white PVC kitchen waste water pipes outside of my house black to match the rest. I was not gonna pay ยฃยฃ's to have a plumber come out to change them. you know one of those jobs that's irked me for years for years but just never got round to it. The pipes were a bit old so not as new and shiny so didn't need much of a sand to prep. I WOULD GIVE IT 5*s all round but I am waiting to give full review in a few months time.

Not sure its genuine...
I wanted to spruce up my white plastic garden chairs and picked up a can of rust oleum direct to plastic from a local store... it was great, sprayed evenly, I did one chair and started the second with one can, finish was really even. I needed another can to finish the job and maybe do another coat, although it didnt desperately need it.... silly me decided to try and get some off amazon so I wouldnt have to go back out and I noticed it was about 5 pounds cheaper a can, i soon discovered why it was so cheap. One can barely covered a quarter of the second chair, the spray was splattering and ruining the finish, I thought maybe was just a faulty batch? Ordered another (I know, should have just gone to the store!) And again, didnt go far and splattered rather than misted the chair. So all in all I spent more money on a crappier product. My own fault of course but I figured if I leave a review it might save someone the disappointment. Just go to a local DIY store instead.
