This tray is 80cm square at the top from lip-to-lip. Inside measurement at the top is 74cm square. At the bottom it is 72cm square.

Are they flat on the underneath, any grooves/triangle shapes,I want to use it for a roof?

Yes, I agree with the previous comment. Basically flat with a few shallow moulding grooves. Should be fine as a roof!

What is the depth of the 1.2m square tray please. Would this do as cooling pool for Dogs

It is about 2" deep so would cool only a mall dog. - better as a liter tray for a cat to be honest!
