NBA 2K18 (Xbox One)

The game is great first time playing nba on any console and it helped me understand how to play and what all the buttons do so I would recommend to everyone to buy the game

Good price and good availability. For the price with next day delivery beats most other websites. Nothing much to say but a great product for a great price!

In the Career mode you play very little Basketball, it’s all gimmicks and the coach benching you. All the nonsense of loading this and that when the gamer just wants to throw down some 3’s. The customisation is lazy and doesn’t give you many options when creating your own player. Looks like the game is being played on the old Amiga. Look at the price and it’s an indication that this game is not very good. It’s all bells and whistles while you’ll sit there waiting just going from one form to another. I've played NBA 2K17 over and over and never got bored of it. 2K18 was the first game I've ever pre-ordered and I was so looking forward to it. To say I'm underwhelmed by the new release is an understatement.First off, the much-lauded Neighbourhood is nothing more than an extension of the old menus that allowed you to upgrade your player, buy clothes, shoes etc. The difference is that now you have to walk (slowly) round the neighbourhood to get to the stores that allow you to customise. The old street courts are now in the neighbourhood too.There is a gym in the neighbourhood where you can play mini-games (similar to 2K17) to level up your player. However, these are dull and repetitive and mainly involve button mashing or trigger flapping. There's also a team practise facility where you can take part in a limited number of drills between games. Of course, 2K will gladly take your money for VC as a quicker alternative way to level up.In MyCareer you are DJ, a street baller who's coming up the ranks. If you played the Prelude free download, the full game will continue where it left off. You get the chance to make choices in Career mode, but none of them actually affect the very linear storyline. The biggest annoyance in the game is that everything happens so slowly. Cut scenes are everywhere, add little to the MyCareer experience and are, frustratingly, unskippable.Also missing from MyCareer is any difficulty less than 'Pro'. Yep, you have to play the game on Pro-level difficulty to use MyCareer, so be prepared for about 10% of your shots to be on target (thanks to the new, small, hard to see shot meter), opposing players adding shot contests to the mix (even when they don't even react to your player) and passes to be tipped out of bounds when there seems to be a clear lane to your team-mate.Really disappointing compared to its predecessor, all the fun has been taken out of it in favour of superfluous features that add nothing. Shame, because the actual gameplay animations are fluid and realistic and the textures on players are incredible.

Great improvements to game. But the game still greatly facilitates and almost forces you to buy VC. It's almost as bad as star wars, where grinding for VC takes forever. The new badge system is also very grindy. However there are great improvements to gameplay and new wanted features.

Gift for nephews that play real life basketball competitively. Very satisfied. Started playing straight away.

Brought this as a present but have been told it’s very good

Was hoping much much better. Still not able to fix some bugs. Like for example, sometimes you get caught to another player and dragged for some time, and just can`t get of him, so annoying, when your guarding guy gets some space, and puts easy 3pt. And the new edition is, stepping out of bounds after getting defensive rebound! What`s up whit that??? Like jumps out of bounds... And sometimes getting to long to load next quarter. To sum up, still good game, whit some new game play stiles, but still could work little bit harder, to fix these bugs, before releasing to customers, because we are in year 2017!

Gioco fantastico per chi ama l'NBA. Curato molto bene nei dettagli e bellissime modalità di gioco (soprattutto "la mia carriera"). Arrivato in tempi consoni e in buone condizioni! Consigliato!

INTRODUZIONEIl gioco, NBA 2K18 non è certo recente. Ha sulle spalle due anni almeno. Non è recentissimo, dunque, ma ha dalla sua alcuni pregi notevoli: grafica interessante, esperienza di gioco complessiva interessante... ma troppo articolato nelle meccaniche e poco avvincente.Mi riservo una correzione della recensione in futuro, dopo aver giocato qualche ora (anzi, alcune ore) in più al titolo!PRIMO CONTATTOIl gioco arriva perfettamente confezionato. Come tutti i classici giochi di Xbox. Scartato, internamente alla confezione abbiamo soltanto il disco di gioco e un piccolissimo manuale di istruzioni.Vabbè, servirebbe a poco altro.Inserito nella consolle, via, si da il via al gioco.IN GIOCOGrafica molto molto curata, animazioni belle, impatto e colpo d'occhio meritevole. Varie le possibilità per giocare, dalla carriera al campionato.COMANDIComandi che, a mio avviso, risultano molto molto meno intuitivi di un tempo e rendono il gioco forse più complesso del dovuto. Ammetto una mia mancanza, avendo perso per qualche anno l'evoluzione del genere. Ma mi riprometto, come già detto, di rivedere la recensione in futuro dopo più ore di gioco e più impegno profuso.CONCLUSIONIIl gioco è un bel gioco, indubbiamente per gli amanti del genere è un must have (anche se datato). Ma visto il prezzo dell'edizione 2K18 non vedo perchè non portarselo a casa. Dopotutto è comunque un intrattenimento, con tutti i suoi "NO", valido.
