Is the frying basket round or square

Hi The frying basket is round. It is ideal for just the two of us holds sufficient chips for us OAP's. Also uses much less oil than larger fryers.

Is a 1 litre fryer big enough for 2 people?

Personally I find it just big enough for one person, but I prefer large portions ! It is very effective and easy to use nonetheless.

Hi , can you fit a chicken thigh in it?

a thigh should be alright but not a leg, that would be too big.

are there any small chip fryers with a removable inner

I've not seen any. This little one i find is ideal for one or two people who don't eat a lot of fried food. It's very light weight & easy to clean. The only downside is the lid which is a pain as it keeps dropping down whilst cooking,so i just clip it off when using & back on when not.
