Garnier Skin Naturals Oil Control Complete Vanishing Cream 40ml

I've pretty much always had oily skin, and although it's dried up a little since I hit 40, I still get shine appearing in as little as an hour after applying make up, and particularly in the summer. I've tried everything, and nothing seems to stop it. I was sceptical about this when I saw the cost; I've tried products ten times the cost of this that did nothing, but gave it a go anyway. And it really does work! I applied it to clean skin, then applied a light CC cream. It went on easily, felt matte but not unpleasantly so, and gave a nice base for make up. The best part is that no shine appeared for the next 3 hrs, which is amazing for me! It didn't stop the shine all day, but nevertheless this is a fabulous product if it can keep me shine free for longer than anything else I've used. I've just ordered another 3 tubes if the stuff.....highly recommended

Love the cream, does its job in matting your face and reduces blemishes.However, this has been manufactured for South Africa and probably reimported to the UK. The cream has definitely been tampered with. The bottle isn't full compared to the picture and my previous 5 purchases, definitely squeezed out.Garnier, needs to run a quality check on their products and read our reviews!!

I suffer from VERY oily skin. If I don't use products after washing my face it will be covered in oil within an hour. After reading other reviews I was almost expecting miracles from this product, and in truth, it is very good, but not as good as I expected. The cream has a nice texture and a pleasant light scent. I also like applying it. It's quite thick and feels as though it will not sink in, though it does almost immediately. Skin appears mattified at application, and it holds back oil on my face for at least a few hours, when I touch up with powder. Since using this product my skin has felt softer throughout the day, and it's also easier to remove excess oil which builds up throughout the day with either powder or blotting sheets. Will definitely repurchase but hoping to one day find something that will really solve the product.

As a teenager, I suffer from spots and oily skin. I was looking everywhere for a solution and finally I found this. I thought why not give it a try as it was a reasonable price. This is around £10 in my local drug store. I couldn't wait for the product to arrive to finally test it and solve all my problems! But...when I finally did put it on, I put it on at night time just to see what my face was like in the morning. When I woke up, low and behold my spots had turned out worse than ever! My face was just greasy and I had lots and lots of big paiful red spots. I thought id give it a few more go's as it could have just been me! Unfortunately, its happened again, and again, and.. AGAIN!!! So I will not be using this product no more. Gave it a two star because it was fast delivery, excellent packaging and it does smell lovely!

This really works well. Keeps my face oil free all day long. I have bought this three times but wont be buying again, because the third time I received one empty and one half empty tubes.. so upset I decided to throw away rather than waste my time returning .

It did absorb some shine at first, but couldn't conquer my nose. A few hours later I looked possibly shinier than normal, so not much use really.

I read the comments on here not knowing wether to order this product so I gave it a go, was really fast delivery which I was happy with, I have been using it for 3 days now, I have seen loads of change in my skin, so happy will be ordering more ( as tube isn't that big)

I bought this as a replacement for my favourite £1 moisturiser - Balance Cosmetics' 8-in-1 face cream, since that miracle elixir has disappeared from the shops near me and costs £7 online. :(It's ok, the mattifying effect is pretty good but I can really detect the heavy layer of clay on my skin and I prefer a bit more moisture for my very dry skin (I still manage to get a bit shiny by the end of the day, which is why I want a mattifying cream). Smell is nice enough. I'll use up this tube but keep looking for something better.
