I'm done with clays and pastes from a can. Plus they aren't near as easy to wash off your hands once you rub them together to warm and soften it before applying. Clay Spray washes off in seconds. This is ultra matte no-shine, holds hair just as good and covers all of your hair evenly. Thinning on top, this is a great product to control my hair (what's left) from going all directions. If I'm stepping out for the evening I'll put 1 or 2 new sprays to slightly dampen and re-control my hair and it's good to go. Just hope they don't stop making this or I'll empty out their inventory and use it all!

The spray leaves your hair with a very mild stiff texture that will quickly rub out and still leave your hair in the desired style. It works great, sets quickly, easy to wash out, and smells great.

I was really skeptical about this spray actually working. Considering that I have very thick hair, I thought it wouldn't hold. Well....it does hold and it does leave a matte finish! The matte finish comes after the product fully dries up. The only downside is that it leaves your hair super crunchy and if you move your hair after it dries, your hair becomes ashy. If it becomes ashy just apply a little bit of water on your hair and restyle a bit. The scent is not bad but not good either. Really recommend it!

This has a pretty significant orange type scent but works great!!

I wish I’d known about this product earlier!I’ve only used this on my hair so far, so keep in mind that this review applies especially to straight, brown, medium thickness hair that I like to style up with a pompadour or coif.Sprayed after the shower and blow dried, it gives a very natural amount of volume without looking like there’s any product in the hair at all. I will also use it as a matte finishing product like a hair spray, but without looking like it has wet, or greasy product like most sprays.In the picture included, this is 4 hours after styling my hair with just the spay, hairdry, and reapply spray technique. It’s maintained its shape, doesn’t look greasy, and doesn’t flake like most hairsprays.Only downside I’ve noticed; the duration of hold is not like the high-hold hairsprays. With some of those, you can wake up the next day and still have styled hair, this stuff isn’t that. I’d say I get a good 12 hours out of it before it’s looking tired.All that being said, this stuff deserves ALL the stars!Pro tip: wanna get a TON of volume and make your hair look fuller? Pair this product with Goodfellow&Co Texturizing Fiber from Target and style with your palms. 💁🏻‍♂️

Easy to apply. No mess to clean up. Holds and smells good.
