Bought to use for a welder. Worked perfectly! Used 6 gauge wire. Yes it’s tough but not impossible. It’s help up to the elements well also.

Excellant fit and finish! Heavy-duty outdoor-rated housing, with a sturdy, crystal-clear cover containing a first-quality 6-50R welder receptacle. This thing is so nice it could be installed any place outdoors, inside the garage or shop- Makes my current, steel box and cover look like a bad joke. They even provided a small bag of plugs for the 4 cover-mounting screw holes, PLUS one for dropping! Note the instructions for sealing dust and water tight to insure specification. Highly recommended, I'll buy this again- and the price is right!! Only drawback- it doesn't come with a little guy to install it! ;-)

Good things it’s nice and compact. Bad things the threads for the conduit connectors don’t match American sizes. I made my own hole in the back but the angle that you had to feed the wire ends into the back of the receptacle has to be right angle to a hole that you’re running in the back .I use 4AWG copper wire since I had it on hand. it was very difficult to get the wire shorten off and still get a screwdriver on the back of the receptacle where the screws are the Titan and get it back in if I had to do over again, I would’ve got a larger metal box. I did try my welder on it and it seemed to work fine.

This was an excellent outlet. My garage has a leaky roof and I was concerned about corrosion. Was amazed to find this with the sealed door. Didn't realize it locked on it's on! Very nice surprise. I hired someone to install and they were impressed as well.
