This has been the best litter from a long line of litters
Like all litters this gets everywhere as it sticks to my kittens little grinch feet. It clumps well and is really absorbant. There's no smell to the litter and it appears to keep the odour to minimum ( I detest the smell of litter trays). I've tried lots of different litters with my kitten as he suffers with his tummy so they have all been put through their paces and so far this has turned out to be the best and one of the cheapest.

This is the best cat litter & I've used lots!
My cat is 3 years old, an indoor British Longhair who uses her litter tray several times daily. We've been using this since she was a kitten, after trying many other brands (some had a strange smell, some set like concrete, were dusty as hell or just didn't clump at all!) & then being introduced by our crazy cat lady neighbour who had 3 cats at the time. It's the best litter we've found & although it's a little more expensive than other brands, I've found that we use less so it lasts longer. I read some of the other reviews & was so surprised that some have said that it was dusty, smelled bad & stained. I have never found it to be dusty - even when emptying the entire bag into our cat litter caddy, I can stand above it without any discomfort! It does tend to leave a brown/red mark at the bottom of the tray/on our laminated wood floor when it gets wet (Er...it's cat litter!) but I wipe it up with an anti-bac'd tissue with no problems & have never had any staining of anything at all. Our litter tray is a couple of years old & it still looks brand new (admittedly, I clean it as soon as I'm able after she's used it so other than when we're at work, nothing is ever left for any significant time). Regarding smell, I've never noticed ANY smell at all, either from the litter or from our cat's pee (of course, I can tell when she's had a poo, but that's because she's particularly bad at covering it up-there's usually more cat litter on the floor than over her poo!) For clumping, if you try to remove the pee immediately afterwards, it can break up a little if you don't get the whole thing from underneath. But after 5 minutes, it's more solid & it's fine to pick up. I don't use a scoop (don't like the thought of having a scoop in the house!) so I grab it all with a poo bag, cleaning up any extra with a tissue if necessary & I find I get everything. We didn't expect to have an indoor cat (it was her choice) & I wasn't chuffed about having a cat litter tray, so I'm particularly fastidious about keeping it clean & not having a house that smells of cat pee! It doesn't (I've asked quite a few of my friends!) & unless you saw it, you wouldn't even know we had a litter tray...or a cat for that matter-she's pretty elusive! Highly recommended cat litter!

Decent alternative to my usual one
I got this litter as my usual one was out of stock. It's a very fine grain litter which means you can get a bit of it being kicked out of the tray - we have mats in front of the trays which catches most of it so not too much tracking. Low to no dust - no dusty pawprints or choking dustclouds when pouring it into the trays. Clumping is good - can occasionally stick to the bottom of the tray if its not quite deep enough (or if like mine you cat digs a massive hole to wee in) but a quick scrape with the scoop and its up No noticeable scent to it to me Not quite as good at odour control as my usual one - when scooping there is a definite wee/poo odour to the litter when removing it although there isnt a strong odour when the tray has been used unless its fresh - we do tend to scoop 2 times a day morning/night so nothing really sits in it for long and the used stuff is bagged and put in an outside bin so cant comment on how it would cope without being cleaned as often or with multiple cats (we have 4 cats and 4 trays as they dont like sharing but I know some people will use shared trays with multiple cats) Price isnt bad - when I purchased it was £14.99 - this bas was enough to do a complete fill of 4 empty trays with around 1/5 of a bag left for top up - cleaning out the used litter daily and adding a small amount to top up I would expect this to last a week for 4 trays

Good product but rubbish packaging
cat litter is excellent and good value for money although the red colour does stain. Clumps and leaves a clean tray but and its a big but,...the bag it comes in is paper. Okay a few layers of paper but nowhere near strong enough to hold 15kg of litter. As I can only get this product online and its delivered, I wont be buying again until the packaging is changed. I'd lost approx 1kg before it got to my door, and suffered a very disgruntled delivery driver who had to clean his van after the bag tearing. Shame as I really like the product, please change the packaging!

Really good value for money
This is a really good cat litter not the best that I’ve used. I found the Amazon own brand is really effective. This one is absorbent and easy to use. It is a good price so I won’t complain.

Worst litter I've used...
Worst litter I've used in 20 years of cat ownership!! It does not clump well at all, it breaks up and falls through the scoop scattering used smelly litter back in the tray. It turns into a muddy sludge that is difficult to scrape off the bottom of the tray and cakes up the scoop meaning everything needs to be cleaned more often. The kitten has tracked little muddy footprints all through the house and I'm having to clean her paws so she doesn't have to clean the muck off of herself. It's very heavy when saturated with urine. Seemed like good value for money, I bought 2 15kg bags, used approx 5kg and given the rest away.

Excellent!
I really rate this litter because since we’ve been using it there have been no awful smells lingering like there were before with another litter. It’s cheap and works really well and you get a good amount for the money. I couldn’t fault it really. What we do is we put a bag plastic liner in the tray and then we put what is like a similar thing to a puppy pad but smaller on the bottom of the tray before filling the tray with this litter. It gets picked out daily and topped off with fresh litter to replace what gets taken out. After a few days the pad liner starts to work it’s way out and we just pull it out at that point and it usually lasts a few extra days without the pad liner before needing to completely change the tray. Changing is so easy then as you just tie up the liner bag and take it out. The tray is still perfectly clean underneath. I bought these two bags of litter weeks ago (you are required to buy at least two bags at a time) and we haven’t finished them yet…we have 3 cats. I really recommend this litter I cannot fault it with the way we use it.
