Pentel EnerGel-X 0.7mm Tip Retractable Pen, Blue (Pack of 12)

I absolutely adore these pens. I've bought them twice. Apart from the beautiful colour of the ink, it flows so easily, making writing effortless. I also love that the ink dries really quickly, so no more accidental smudges.I'll be buying more, especially at this price, they're a bargain! I don't ever want to run out.

Best pen i have used

I used to use a different version of this pen that I had to import because it wasn’t available in the uk. It was black and blue with metallic accents. I think it was the regular pentel energel. I was able to get a pack of 5 for about the same price as this… But i did some research to find the pentel energel x use the exact same ink formula! The only difference is the body of the pen being completely black glossy plastic (or colour matched of you get a different colour). Meaning a pack of 12 was a bargain for a pen bordering on the same good quality.I cannot recommend this pen enough. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because… Depending on the angle you write at, there can be moments you get small interruptions in ink flow, but the general feeling is a smooth gel that feels amazing to write with. If you find any issues with ink flow, my advice is to tilt the pen a little more towards an acute angle towards the page.My favourite thing about the pen is how quickly it dries… meaning I can write a single phrase and by the time I’m done I could rub it with my finger and not a single smudge. This means when you take notes with it, you can highlight almost instantly without any fear of the horrible smudging you get with most gel pens. Also amazing for left handers (or so I have heard from others, I am right handed so take that with a grain of salt lmao)Although there are some surfaces that won’t take to the ink as well (as with any gel pen or ball point pen), this is the most versatile gel pen I could recommend. On paper of quality for note taking *budget or more bougie*, it delivers a decently consistent smooth feel. Again the ink flow interruptions can be slightly frustrating at times if you’re in flow state, but the tip I recommended helps, and I will happily take that if it means my pen will dry borderline instantly and allow me to add my highlights without waiting 5-10 minutes for the ink to dry in avoidance of smudging! (I use zebra mildliners. I assume other highlighters will perform the same in combination but that’s something for yall to figure out.)Overall… I rave about this pen to everyone I know who might need a good pen. It’s definitely worth the price, ESPECIALLY if you can get 12 for £13 like I did. The pen lasts a decently long time so I shouldn’t need to buy more for a long while. Thwre are smoother writing pens vut colour is nice

Comfortable grip, easy to write with, would definitely recommend to others. Good value for money.

Beautiful colour and easy flow, my favourite pens.

Prior to using these I used the uniball jetstream pen. I believe that these are better, as they are smoother and more pleasant to write with.I used these pens for writing notes, and each lasted around a month of use, writing about 25 sides of a4 per week. The ink did not bleed through 80gsm notepaper, and dried fairly quickly (although writing on a shiny surface was a different story - would not recommend these pens for that). The tip of the pen moves smoothly and easily over paper, and makes for a great writing experience. The line it makes is slightly thicker than other 0.7mm pens that I have used, but I find that it is still a good thickness for standard sized handwriting. The weight and balance of the pens themselves are very good, and overall the pens make for a very pleasant writing experience.

📌 Je n’utilise depuis quelques temps que ces stylos que je trouve de très bonne qualité. Ils écrivent très bien et tiennent longtemps malgré une utilisation intensive. La pointe de 0,7 mm est parfaite pour moi. On a une bonne prise en main. L’encre est bien noire et l’écriture est fluide. Je les recommande sans hésiter.
