Very good size, means your not constantly refilling them. Well made sturdy construction, the body of the mill is glass, and it’s a good size to hold, and grind. The grinding mechanism is smooth and works very well, the mechanism can be adjusted, so you can grind to your preferred size. Inevitably grinding mechanisms do get jammed with debris from the mill. This set comes with a handy brush, for clearing the debris. Personally I thought that the brush was a really nice added feature, which gives the mills a premium feel

I love these grinders so much having had a pair in my kitchen for a year that I use for cooking I've just bought a 2nd pair for my dining table. Very easy to use, grinds perfectly and I love the sleek elegant look.

I love these grinders. This is second set I purchased - the first set (well the salt grinder of the first set) lasted over two years. With care I know these will last longer because I now know the "weak spot".The plastic screw that adjusts the coarseness, has a metal thread and it is screwed onto a metal "peg", and this is where corrosion (from the salt) will occur. When you get your salt grinder, spend a little time "salt-proofing" the metal components. It's a simple job of unscrewing the mechanism and smearing a light film of Vaseline on the metal peg and also the metal thread that's in the plastic adjustment screw. It stops the salt corroding the mechanism and doesn't affect the use. I tried using a different (cheaper) grinder that had no metal part in the adjustment screw but adjusting the coarseness just stripped the thread from the plastic.All in all, this set is great if you spend a few minutes protecting the metalwork before first use. Of course, if this were done at point of manufacture, I would give it 5 stars.

I have been looking for a replacement for a pair of very old salt & pepper grinders for some time. I have tried out electric(Battery) units, but their has always been an issue with them.This pairing works extremely well and looks good on the dining table, and at a good price for a set of 2 units

I like the style. They also fit the hand well when using them. You take the disk off the very top of the mill, turn the mill upside down and screw the silver part anti-clockwise. Also adjustable for grade of coarseness. I don't have dinner parties where I would use these on the table but I like them to put an small amount of pepper and salt into my cooking. They aren't as violent as a shaker - you don't have to pour an amount into the palm of your hand to ensure that you haven't poured too much.

Lasted a few years

Had this over a year now and still very happy. Particularly the pepper mill goes very coarse which I like. It gets light use most days. Hopefully the quality is good enough that when I buy some for the old folks they work just the same, they really like the ones I have.

This is second set I have bought. The pepper grinder stopped working and when I searched through my orders to replace it I discovered I had purchased them in 1917. 5 years of daily use before one stopped working is pretty impressive especially considering the price. Hope I get 5 years out of this set!

Tanto como en peso, como el producto cuanto lo tienes en mano, se ve de buena calidad y buenos materiales, no es el típico plástico malo en la parte del molinillo. Permite ponerlo en las dos posiciones verticales, arriba-abajo. En cuanto a cantidad, engaña, entra mucho más de lo que aparenta. Uno de mis mayores problemas con otros molinillos era que la pimienta más gorda no la trituraba bien. Este por ahora se comporta muy bien, y el gradauje del grosor es muy fácil. Es muy difícil que pueda vaciarse por completo al echarlo en el plato.

Ces jolis moulins ont tout bon,ils sont aussi pratiques & faciles à manier que plaisants à regarder !Voici donc une idée de petit cadeau bien sympathique, à offrir .. ou à s'offrir,en tout cas à recommander sans l'ombre d'une hésitation .. 😸P. Pratico e funzionale, disponibile di misure diverse: macina bene e si può regolare la grandezza dell'apertura per grani più o meno piccoli. Consigliato

Diese Bestellung war mein dritter Versuch für Salz-/Pfeffermühlen und ich bin endlich mal wieder begeistert. Es ist total einfach, die Mühlen zu öffnen und zu füllen und das Mahlwerk einzustellen. Die Optik ist schlicht, aber edel und passt eigentlich in jedem Haushalt. Nachdem ich eingesehen hatte, dass ich so einen "Schnick-Schnack" wie Beleuchtung und Kippsensor NICHT brauche, da die Teile auch kompliziert zu füllen und zu reinigen sind, habe ich mich für dieses Mühlen-Set entschieden. Ich habe sie direkt in Gebrauch genommen und war sofort überzeugt. Die Optik gefällt mir, die Handhabung und Reinigung ist einfach und das Mahlwerk ist einfach einzustellen. Was will man mehr? Ach ja: Die Mühlen funktionieren einwandfrei. Das ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit, das Vorgänger-Set war recht schwierig zu drehen und eine Mühle mahlte gar nicht.... Also ich kann zusammenfassend nur eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung abgeben!
