Tarot de Marseille Jodorowsky

For those of you wandering how to read some cards as reversed or upright the cardmaker has left the camoin print as an indicator. If it reads jodo camoin on the bottom left hand side the card is in the upright. I thoroughly enjoy the colours and geometric appeals of this set of cards. As well as the sense of authenticity with this deck being one of the founding fathers of modern Tarot designs and the core themes in the major arcana. Absolutely love it, well worth the £22!

This is a sublime deck. Easily my favourite Tarot de Marseille. It’s a pleasure to work with. The cards are excellent quality and the printing is bright and vivid. Very, very impressed. Jodorowsky and Camoin have given us a gift. Don’t hesitate - get this deck and work with it. To address a criticism regarding the thickness of the card stock, I note that the quality of the cards is exceptional albeit thinner and glossier than some other decks. This is not a negative, nor is it a corner cut by the manufacturer; it’s just a different kind of card from that used by US Games in their version of the CBD TdM for example. I already know I’ll end up using this version exclusively.

Full suite of all tarot cards, including all the minors and instruction manual adequately explaining how to play the game. Cards are bright and vibrantly coloured and if high quality. Very pleased with this product.

I am really happy with this deck, the card stock quality is better than I thought. Very clear images, and nice colours. Images are quite similar to the dodal version Marseille, so the death card has no name written e.t.c. And got for a really good price to, definitely was worth purchasing.

Good deck, but docking a star for the copyright captions on each card. Small details, but it does spoil the look of them.

I’ve been looking for a set of these cards for some time now. They do not disappoint. I love the idea of the images coming from preliterate lines when people read images.

Teuer? Oh ja. Und jeden € wert. Ich habe viele, viele Marseiller Tarotkarten gesehen, und die hier sind die schönsten, die Deteilreichsten, mit ästhetischer Farbgebung, sorgfältig gezeichnet. Ich könnte mir jede einzelne Karte stundenlang einfach nur anschauen. Bin schon gespannt auf welche Art sie sprechen werden wenn ich sie gebrauche.

Deste çok güzel, coins kartlarında numaralandırma olmaması ve page of coins’in adının diğer court kartları gibi altta değil de yanda olması dikkatimi çekmişti, baskı hatası mı diye düşünmüştüm ama araştırdığımda orijinal desteye sadık kaldıkları için böyle yapıldığını öğrendim. Death kartı da isimsiz bir kart, Marseille ve Visconti-Sforza destelerinde bu kart gerçek ölümden daha geniş bir anlam ifade ettiği için kasten isimsiz bırakılmış. Kağıt, baskı kalitesi ve kartların boyutları gayet güzel. Tarot ile ilgilenenlerde olması gereken dört desteden biri.

Excellent jeu de Tarot. Esthétique, bien que le fond blanc soit vraiment très blanc, du coup les contrastes sont nets et peuvent ne pas plaire à tous. Perso, j'aime. Le but de Jodorowsky / Camoin était de restituer le tarot "originel" se basant sur l'ensemble des tarots les plus anciens (imprimés) ainsi que sur un Tarot dont malheureusement nous n'avons pas accès (peint), acheté à Mexico semble-t-il (si ma mémoire est bonne). D'ailleurs si Mr Jodorowsky veut nous en montrer une copie, cela serait parfait 😊. Cela n'est évidemment pas le premier tarot qui aurait été restauré, c'est un effort pour nous rendre un tarot qui ressemblerait le plus au "premier" tarot. Je pense personnellement que certains éléments ont pu êtres rajoutés par Jodorowsky suite au travail (des décennies 👍) je disais donc au travail d'épuisement de chaque carte. D'ailleurs son livre est vraiment très intéressant et permet d'en savoir plus. Il se peut donc qu'il y ait malgré tout un parti pris. Mais très intéressant. J'ai personnellement en ma possession un tarot dit de Madenié, et un Raider Waite Smith. J'ai acheté ce tarot (Jodorowsky Camoin) car j'étudie le tarot et que je lis / étudie le livre "La Voie du Tarot" de Jodorowsky : c'est donc une aide et une découverte supplémentaires. J'apprécie et je respecte profondément le travail d'Alejandro Jodorowsky 👍. J'aime vraiment son tarot, il est esthétique et on y voit des détails que l'on peut trouver en majeure partie tant chez Medenié que chez Conver. C'est une somme d'expérience, d'étude et de recherche et c'est vraiment super agréable et intéressant. La qualité du jeu est excellente et je pèse mes mots : les cartes sont très bien imprimées, très faciles à battre (franchement je dirais même le tarot plus facile à battre / mélanger : un vrai plaisir). N'hésitez pas à vous procurer sur Amazon le livre de Jodorowsky / Costa "La Voie du Tarot", il sera un excellent complément. Dernier détail que je souhaite mettre en avant : je n'étais pas à la maison quand le livreur Amazon est venu et je n'ai pas pu répondre à son appel. Il n'a pas hésité à repasser dans l'après-midi et me passer un autre coup de téléphone pour me prévenir de sa venue (au lieu du lendemain) 👍. Merci jeune homme, vous êtes très professionnel et serviable. Parfois on tombe sur des personnes exceptionnelles 👍. Chapeau !
