it work as it should be, but max SSD or usb drive I tested is only 256GB

Defective, works only for charging
Useless, doesn’t have mfi certification (a lie in the description), doesn’t sync with iPhone and works only if you want to charge it. Completely useless scam.

Works for MIDI controller on iPad
Used it to connect my M-Audio Axiom 61 key MIDI controller keyboard to my iPad mini 5th generation with no issues. It wasn't compatible with my old iPad 4 though. So be sure to check compatibility first. Product itself comes in a presentable package and is quite sturdy. The lightning PD port can charge your iOS device while it is hosting a USB device through the USB port.

Not compatible with new iPhone models / IOS version
This can only charge the phone and is not compatible with the new Iphone modes and IOS versions to read or write from the external storage devices
