I use a pen every day at work signing contracts and filling out forms. Every now and then I come across random pens that just really write and feel great in the hand. Usually within a day or 2 they disappear from my desk forcing me back to my drawer of cheap bulk pens. After a bit of research I decided to order this pen for myself, and I vowed to keep it locked up so it would not disappear like many others before it! I was completely surprised that this pen really actually delivered on the promises that so many reviewers have given it on multiple different platforms. This pen is well balanced, very comfortable in the hand and writes smooth as butter! I write with my right hand, so I love the actual positioning of the bolt action mechanism. I must have gotten lucky as I did not have the issue with a bad pen cartridge that some people have made mention of. Right out of the box it has been perfect! In anticipation of maybe getting one with a bad cartridge right out of the box, I also ordered a 6 pack of the Schmidt easyFLOW 9000 Black Ink refills. I have yet to open them, as months later the pen is still delivering the outstanding performance that it was from day one! I will do a review when I actually have to open that Schmidt pack and use one of the refills. With that being said, Ridge, you have delivered a great product for a very competitive price point. If you are looking for a nice pen please don't hesitate to give Ridge a try!

Like the pen. Hate the ink. It's gel ink that smears, but I guess that can be fixed with different refill. The weight of the pen is nice although I do wish it was made for a larger hand. The pen is fairly short at 5.25 inches (133mm). My preference would be closer to 6 inches (152mm). I don't think it delivers on the value given the price.

Terrible quality. Clear quality control issues when the carbon fiber doesn't line up with the other half of the pen, and the gasket was torn inside. Annoying rattle when you move the pen.

I carry this with me every day and I love the quality, functionality, feel, and cool factor. It definitely feels solid in your hand, smooth to write with, and is easy on the eyes. Super cool pen.

Although it is pricey it is worth it if you care about what you write with. This thing is sweet. Purchased it for a Christmas gift and the recipient loves it

It does cost quite a bit for a pen, but it writes very nicely and should last a long time.

The most important quality of a pen is how smoothly it writes. This pen does not perform well when writing, gaps keep appearing in the words. Nice looking feels good in the hand.

Bellissima penna in fibra di carbonio, la scrittura è fluidissima. Unica pecca è che il carbonio sui bordi lungo i quali è stato tagliato dovrebbe essere smussato, qui risulta un po’tagliente.
