No reason not to have them whatsoever
If you search info online about those polygon weights, you'll find some correct and useful data and working principle, but other comments about longevity or roller weight vs polygon weight will lead you to a bunch of false and useless statements. I've been using polygon weights for years and they work in their intended function, which is to give more clutch opening range, top and bottom, they don't wear, at all, and let's be honest, the clutch calibration from the factory is never right, so you have to adjust it anyways. Plus, those rollers are so cheap and easy to replace that you can order a few sets and experiment with it, but in my case, when the engine feels like it's strangled, go 1-2 ounces down and if it revs too much and doesn't pull, go 1-2 ounces up (after you weighted the stock rollers that were in the clutch).

Best upgrade or replacement part for any 50cc
I have a 2004 Honda metropolitan or chf50 it’s completely stock besides I took the air filter out and with the 5 gram slider weights it’s PERFECT I weigh 165 ish and I saw 38 mph on flat ground and that was a speed sign not a phone gps. Its getting into the peak power band around 5 ish miles an hour instead of 25 ish and that make the motor feel like it’s not working as hard and it’s way more fun to ride.Definitely worth the 10 bucks.

Great Product
Bought to keep up maintenance on my 50cc TAO TAO. Product was easy to install while following with a YOUTUBE video.Honestly a plug and play multi pack will work best unless you know the exact weight you need.I am running a 3 mix of sliders with 3 copper round rollers.

Great rollers
I have several weights in this brand and they are an affordable alternative to Dr. Pulley if you are looking to use them (multiple sets) to dial in the perfect weight and then upgrade to the premium brand. Although, these have lasted a great deal of time for me so far. No complaints.

Why did I wait so long to by these? Woke up my agility 50
I've been playing with roller weights over the years and finally decided to try the sliders. I am never going back these are so so much better than roller weights. You don't have to sacrifice speed or acceleration with these. The powerband is so much smoother down low and top end doesn't struggle. With stock 6.5 gram rollers you would have to WOT everywhere with weak acceleration. With these I can cruise comfortably at 20-25 MPH at half throttle. You still will be the slowest thing on the road but no more pushing off with your feet. with a 8mph head and tail wind average speed was around 39mph on a stock derestricted bike. I noticed that I was able to power through the wind without much speed loss than with comparable roller weights.

Too Much
After seeing videos I am aware weights can fluctuate. A 7g weight can be 6.8/6.9/7.1. These 9g weights were 9.4g which is a lot heavier than expected and much heavier than needed. My bike slowed down back to stock speed with these and I have a Big Bore Kit.
