This is one of the best dual deep fryer I have used. I used it for my fish and shrimp tacos and my grandmother's fried chicken. Outstanding temperature control and quick recovery of set temperature . My choice of oil is Peanut Oil and as a Professional Chef I highly recommend this deep fryer, solidly made and I would call it a high end deep fryer. Some comments are about the cost but this is a classic example of you get what you pay for.

Bought this fryer for my home use. I was well aware that it’s a commercial unit and was not recommended for home use as it is stated clearly in the owners manual. That said, I wanted the power, size and durability of it.It holds 1 1/2 gallons of oil. I’m using it on my stove with the exhaust fan running on high.Pros: holds a lot of oil. Heats rapidly. Temperature control is pretty good as I tested with separate thermometer. Recovery heating after putting in food was very good. Construction is nice. Fairly easy to clean the outside. The inside parts seem constructed well and can be cleaned in the sink. Some parts can be put in the dishwasher. Cooks and browns food nicely. Indicator lights are ok but a little bit dim in direct light. Basket is nice with long handle and stays cool during use. Adjustable feet are also nice. Lid cover is adequate but could be better. It has a couple of medium sized gaps around the heater coils and by the handle.Cons: It’s messy. The low sides allow a lot of oil splatter to get out of the tank. Not too much of a problem for one quick use but any long term use will require some cleaning time of the surrounding area (in my case the whole stove top, range hood, filter etc.). Again not a big concern in a commercial kitchen but abnormal for a home kitchen.Life-threatening issue! DO NOT TRY TO MOVE THIS UNIT WHILE OIL IS HOT!!!! You will spill hot oil everywhere including yourself! No I didn’t do it but even trying to move it with cold oil is hard to do without spilling. One, it’s pretty heavy. Two, the distance above of the oil in the tank is short so that any tipping will slosh or spill the oil. Again, it’s a commercial unit and not designed to be moved with oil in it, ever. Next, to remove the COOL oil tank is a little hard to do without spilling also unless you do the following. You need to lift the basket and let it drain. Then lift heating coils and let them drain. Next remove the entire heating head assembly to be able to remove the tank. It would help if the whole unit is not to high so you can lift straight up. Also, can’t cook with the lid on.That’s about it. I love the way it cooks. It’s not too big. (it’s their smallest commercial unit At 13 pounds). It can cook a decent amount of food so you can have several guests using it. However, I have decided that it’s too messy for my kitchen so I’m buying a stainless steel kitchen trolley to put it on and will be using it outside to stop the mess.Hop this review is helpful!

It was good while it lasted. Around 2 months. After that the switch and LED burned and bunch of cables inside also melted. Contacted customer service because it was under warranty and their answer was to send me a bunch of cables and pieces for me to fix it. I’m no an electrician or appliance technician so I dont have the proper tools or anything to do that kind of work. I tried and switch but still didn’t work. At that time I gave up. Definitely is not a good quality item that can be used for long time. Waste of money. Honor your warranty and if something breaks either fixed it or replace it

works as expected and a great upgrade to a small home fryer. Wish there was a basket lid to hold food under oil. Cleaning a bit of a challenge but that is as expected. I recommend this product.

Love the size. Packaging was great! Took two of us to get it out. The only thing and it's a big thing, once you put food into fry, it takes SO Long to heat back up to actually cook, resulting in the food soaking up oil. Between batches, it also takes a very long time to heat up to fry level. Very frustrating when in a time crunch.

That was the best money I spent for something I use the most in my house I could not go wrong without it works great it works just as good as the one that we have in the pizza shop thank you very much yours truly Jeff
