Bahco 2101G-160 Ergo Wire Cable Side Cutter Cutting Pliers 160mm

Very good. Bought these as a replacement for a surprisingly poor quality knipex pair and they are far superior. Nicely finished and ground cutting surfaces with excellent mating between them, nicely weighted and good spring. Much better than the knipex ones I originally ordered and returned.

These will be my 4th pair of Bahco cutters in 20 years. I still have my first pair for my home toolbox, the second pair I was ambitious at work cutting some large diameter wire, just like I've been doing with the first pair, but this pair broke off at the tip of the cutters and only in the first few days of getting them! so a replacement was sent making these the 3rd pair. These were just as good as the 1st and I've been cropping through cables & screws happily until they must have gone out with a truck full of scrap at the tip and therefore lost, hence I'm on the 4th pair which are still going great. The first pair still cuts just as good as the newest 4th pair, so the metal cutting edge hardness Bahco do is spot on. The 210mm give that bit more leverage when cropping screws & small bolts so your hand doesn't do all the leveraging. Very easy to use with the slide spring to make them expand ready for the next cut, then slide the spring back for toolbox storage.

I have been using this brand of side cutters for over ten years now and they have always been a solid and dependable choice. I recently snapped the tip on my old pair after years of use and bought these as a trusted replacement. I use them regularly for DIY and electrical work when wiring up electronic systems and they perform exactly as expected. They feel great in the hand and the build quality is excellent. I particularly like the built in spring feature which can be switched on or off depending on preference. That flexibility makes them comfortable to use for longer periods. The only thing to be aware of is that they are extremely strong but can be brittle if misused. They are designed for cutting, not levering, so as long as they are used properly they will last a long time. Overall a high quality tool from a brand I continue to trust.

Great bahco side cutters as always

Typical Bahco. Great size for wires, sharp cuts well and good handles. Sprin open or not. Users choice. Easily carried around due to spring design. A must buy. Thanks Bahco.

Bets cutters on the market ! Without a doubt. Cut through everything possible with these and the blade is still good! Still being able to strip 0.75-0.5mm cable confidently. The grip is soft and long lasting making it a great set to use without effecting your hands. Cut / Blade accuracy is bang on making them a strong easy to use set of cutters especially with the added control over the spring loaded handle or not For the price you cannot get anything better in my Opinion and only ever had these over the last 5 years.

Nice pair of side cutters, wood bahco quality

Sharp and cuts through wire easily

Very good tool, good service! Thanks very much!

Bacho levererar alltid!

Sent it back it had a sloppy joint a cutting tool should have good alignment maybe its just the one i got, the rest of the tool was actually very nice with well formed jaws, looked like good plastic molding, good ergonomics, but it failed the primary objective.

This is my second pair, to go in a different toolbox!
