My son is currently thru-hiking the PCT and developed a mild umbilical hernia.He was evaluated at a walk-in clinic and cleared to continue, but I sent him this hernia support belt to give him some extra stability and comfort. Ease of use, well it just goes around your waist and velcros together. Quality and comfort is really good, better than I expected. I had noticed my belly button was all of a sudden an outie not an innie. After research, I realized I had an umbilical hernia. Also confirmed by a doctor. I'm still waiting for tests, but meanwhile I had started to get really bad stomach aches and my stomach was so far out there, my feet and knees were starting to disappear when I looked down. This comes with 2 pads I'm assuming for your comfort or size of hernia. After about a week of wearing it day and night, my stomach pains have gone away. After about a month of wearing it off and on, I've noticed I don't look like I swallowed a watermelon anymore and my knees and feet have reappeared. My pants are no longer harder to button and it appears as if it's finally shrinking. I read that a hernia belt is often the first phase of treatment doctors prescribe before jumping to surgery. So while I wait for my appointments, I'm just going to keep using this and hopefully avoid surgery. It looks promising, so if you have the same problem, def try this first. I mean I'm not a doctor or giving medical advice; I'm just sharing my experience. You can wash it by hand and hang dry if you need to. Drys rather quickly. I chose a smallMedium, and I usually wear a medium in shirts. Surprisingly, it feels really good to put it extra tight in the beginning. I suspect because it's making everything go back to where it should be. You can also wear it underneath your clothes, and it's not noticeable at all. Super durable, as I live in Texas and it's super hot out here. It's not fraying or coming apart even after repeated use and washings. For $20 I think it's a very good buy for the results received.

I've had this for about 3 to 4 months now wow it really works. Feeling pain from my hernia I put this on and it immediately it goes away. I'm also able to lift weights without having any uncomfortability due to the hernia

The product is solid. The sizing however was not right for me. I ordered the L/G and it is way too big to provide the necessary support. The return options were a refund or the a replacement of “the exact same item” which would be the wrong size again.

This is perfect for before you have hernia repair surgery but after surgery you want a very wide binder that covers your entire abdomin and ribcage with no compression pads. I wish I would've known this so hopefully it helps someone else. Otherwise the measurements were perfect. Fit great. Felt comfortable.

Having a hernia sucks but this belt helps it stay in place. It's very durable, the quality is good even after washing in the washing machine, easy function. For what it is and what it does, definitely worth the money!

I've had an umbilical hernia for over 12 years. I've tried a number of different hernia belt brands, and so far this is my favorite. It is well made and breathable, as are some others. But I like this one's increased width.
