Handy for travelling, comfy
Got these for my 5 year old and 3 year old for a long flight. The novelty factor as well as the fact they have a sound limit to prevent damage to the ear are the reason I got them. They are a great fit for 5 year old, a little big for 3 yr old but that doesn't seem to bother her. It was actually quite hard to hear when I tried them on when we were on the plane. The sounds of the engines seemed to overpower the sound from the ear phones. However my kids seem to have been able to hear OK with them, and weren't complaining so that = 5 stars from me! They are well padded so are comfortable to wear.

Weak at the cable splitter connection
Got these for my heavy handed 3 yr old. The "pingu" appeal was instant especially the "fishy" as the jack. I did find that the connection where the cable splits to either side gave way easily. But I soldered and hot shrink sleeved it. Lasted a good 2 yrs after thatThe padding is really comfy and looks great quality. The only reason we did not purchase these again was the Tesco Hudl headphones are a cheaper option

Nice headphones!
These are excellent for my 2 and half girl, who love listening to lots of nursery rhymes in ipad. The good thing is it control sounds and safe for them to use. And I had normal ear phones that she used before.. they did not last for long, thanks to she's pulling them out all the time. Been using this for few months, and it still works! This goes well with baby safe ipad cover. The only thing we did not enjoy is that, it keep getting bit loos and we have to rearrange that all the time, but it is minor. Will recommend this to my friends.

They look great but they are very quiet
I brought these for my daughter how is 7 years old. They look great but they are very quiet. I appreciate that as kids head phones they shouldn't be to loud as this could damage there ears but when you wear them you can hear more background noise than the music. I wouldn't recommend buying these unless you live in a very quiet place.

Looks great, Excellent sound reducing qualities, lasted 2 days!!!!
I bought these headphones for my 3 year old who had suddenly taken to listening to nursery rhymes on my adult headphones. I was worried that he would potentially be listening at a “too high” volume on the adult headphones. These looked REALLY cool, and reduced the sound to very safe levels. However, they lasted only 2 days!!Now, I know some people (from reading some of the other reviews) will ask what I expected giving the headphones to a 3 year old…………well I expected a more robust product. The manufacturers KNOW that these products are going to be used by kids and they should therefore have made the product more robust!!My son had been using my adult JVCs for about a month or 2 before I bought him these, and even though the JVCs were foldable, they didn’t break during the time my son used them.FURTHERMORE, after my experience with these headphones, I bought my son some JVC KIDS headphones and he has been using them for the last 3 months and they are still working. The Kids JVC headphones do not look as cool as these ones (haven’t got the penguin faces), but they are colourful and have a pack of stickers in them so you can customise them.Given that both my own headphones and the JVC kids headphones have survived several months of use by my son, I feel these headphones are not robust enough. This headphone has a twin type cable from the pin that you plug into the computer, which then splits around your chest (or under your neck) and then it feeds one line into the right ear cup and a separate line into the left ear cup. HOWEVER, it is NOT just one line that has been split into two. The bottom line seems to be different from the 2 that split and go into the ear cups, and the (effectively) 3 wires are joined in at the intersection where the split forms by a rubbery, gummy type thing (which actually looks quite cool – like a teddy bear if I remember correctly). There is ZERO strength at this intersection, and this is where it fell apart. In reality, you do not have one wire from the pin splitting into two to feed into the ear cups, you have 3 separate wires. One is a twin wire and goes from the pin into the bottom of this gummy connection, then you have a second and third wire connecting in at the top of this gummy thing and feeding into each ear cup. So of course, a yank will just pop the wires out of the gummy connection and that’s it! Given that the manufacturers know that these products are going to be used by kids, this design is VERY, VERY poor. The pin that plugs into the computer was actually well designed. The part that is usually black that you hold to push in/pull out of your device was made of the same gummy material and was designed in the shape of a fish. I was able to tell my boy to plug in and pull it out “using the fish” so he wasn’t just yanking the wire out like he sometimes did with my adult headphones. And I note that he did use the fish to plug in and out. In the end, the problem didn’t come from that pin (I had always thought that would be the problem). It came from this 3 way connection at the top.Anyway, like I said, I bought him a pair of JVC kids headphones which are actually cheaper than this set, and he has been using them for the past 3 months. That goes to show this pair didn’t break because it was given to a 3 year old, they broke because they had been poorly designed. This set was delivered on a Friday, and by Sunday, the wires were out. Designers made these headsets for kids, they should have made it robust enough to be used by kids. Very poorly designed, and it would be interesting to see how many pairs from those people who have given 5 stars after just listening to it when they received it still have theirs working. The JVC kids ones were purchased the following Friday and are still working. They limit the sound just as well as these ones although they don’t look as cool – however as I mentioned, there is a pack of stickers included and therefore can be customised (we ended up putting on stickers that spelt his name and some other spaceman and car stickers)The JVC ones are also on sale on Amazon. If you searched for “kids headphones” and found these ones, then you probably also saw the JVC ones (blue and yellow OR Red and yellow – and slightly cheaper than these ones)………… save yourself some money and buy those instead!!

20 months old loved it!
Our little one doesn't keep anything on her head or in her hair, everything is off in seconds, but it is a different story with these headphones. Purchased them to use with our iPad for a plane journey and we put them on, she took them off and realized what were for - immediately. We've had them for about 2 months I think and she often brings them and wants to listen to her stories through them. She learned how to put them on as well. Really easy to manipulate, look incredibly cute and limit the amount of noise. It was fine on the plane.I bought them as recommended by a review of kiddie headphones - some other manufacturers do claim to limit the volume, but they don't!

Brilliant, funky headphones
These are for my son, but I'm tempted to get some for myself. They are actually louder than I expected them especially given some of the reviews. They are great no problem in a noisy room, they're more than loud enough for you to get on with your own thing. They look really sturdy, nice thick plastic and metal pieces so they won't get broken easily by absent minded children leaving them lying around. These are a great buy, I'd better get some more....

In addition build quality not so good either as the lead with the 3
Basically I bought 2 pairs of these headphones for my sons to use with Tablet/PC/Smartphone when travelling in particular flying. What attracted me to them was the fact that they were 'over ear' as opposed to 'in-ear' and that they had volume restrictions, something obvioulsy important for young and developing hearing. However the volume level is set so low that it is barely discernable even in a normal room let alone on a noisy flight. In addition build quality not so good either as the lead with the 3.5mm jack came away from the connector. So def not recomend them. Also my wife emailed Amazon Customer Services but did not receive a response.

Divertido y resistente
