Always keep a pack in the cupboard for my dog
Found these in a panic period while my senior dog had a bad reaction to some new medication and was frequently having bad toileting. It’s tough to find stuff to keep them fed but know they are still getting full nutrients etc, so when I saw this product I thought the ingredients sound perfect for the use-case and was worth trying. They did seem to help, as his tummy was more settled on this - certainly I felt better giving him this rather than normal food or chicken & rice. It’s quite solid texture, & imo the quality is really good - my dog ate it and enjoyed it. For the quality of the brand and the purpose, I think it’s great value for the 6 tins, enough that I’ll not be without some in my cupboard going forward and for any future dogs. I’ll recommend to friends if needed too.

Go to food for poorly tums
Used this for years when the dogs eat something they shouldn’t or are in the ears. Nice and easy to digest and they have always like eating it - looks a bit plain but to them it’s nourishment in a can! A few days of this helps to settle their tummy’s before going back on their normal food and much easier than standing around boiling chicken and rice!

Good but expensive
This was good for my dog but unfortunately it became too expensive so now buy a cheaper option. - the cost the reason for dropping a star.

Great product
We have used this several times now when our dog has required surgery. He loves eating it and it has not once upset his stomach after quite invasive surgeries (last being full stomach opening). You have to read the instructions properly as it’s not intended for long term use but for a soothing post treatment food it has served us well.

So popular, I've switched his food. Also helped his tummy.
I bought the recovery recipe for my chihuahua, who had regurgitated his food, AATU, twice in two weeks. I decided to put him on a gentle diet to see if helped settle his stomach - it has. I noticed a bit of wind during his first few meals, but this eased after mashing it down and I also mix in a bit of boiled water to take the chill off since I store it in a plastic container in the fridge to keep it fresh. I think he'd been gulping air.Lily's Kitchen provided me with some advice regarding feeding amounts because I decided to try him on the dry food and mix it in with the wet. They were prompt and helpful via email.I have to say, he eats this so eagerly and seems nicely full - he has also lost a bit of weight - 300g in 4 or so days was quite a bit as he was only 5kg, but I'm not concerned as he needs to be more 4.5kg and can't be hungry as he left a little bit this morning; he's not a greedy dog.The wet food seems to be more popular with him than the dry, but for greater economy, he'll be getting both. I'm looking forward to introducing a new wet food flavour this week and will keep a tin of this just in case he has an upset. The ingredients are quality and you can even see neat little potato cubes. I like that there are probiotics too. Finally, I have to say that I had purchased 10kg of AATU, but this has proved popular and helpful to him, so I'm giving some of his former food away and slipping in a bit here and there too. I'd much rather that he's happy with what he eats and this has been great. Please note: if he had still be showing signs of illness, I would have taken him to the vet, as this food is not necessarily a remedy, but can help temporary digestive issues to settle. It's just like a chicken and rice diet but with the convenience and added goodness of banana and prebiotics.

Perfect for sensitive tummies
Bought this for my 3year old daschund who has upset stomachs. More expensive than others, but, cheaper than the vet bills. Smell good, you can tell what's in it by appearance. Would like then to do different flavours, but, my dogs been eating it every day for the last 2 years, so can't be that tedious. I have healthy dog.
