For anyone with natural hair, particularly the type 4s, for anyone with dry extremely sensitive (even to heat) skin that is acne prone or for anyone who has skin disorders (I don't, but for example eczema) this is for you! After one wash, I knew, I just knew that the filter works. I'm from SE London and the water is extremely hard; I study in Leeds where the water isn't as bad but still not great. Ordered a filter which arrived just before Christmas and decided to take the filter home to London to truly test it. Usually my hair is very dry, stringy, tangled at the ends with just one wash with hard water, and my skin becomes irritated with little pimples. Small, portable. Attached the filter to the bottom of my shower head, really easy to do. no leakage After using this filter? Hair very, very soft, no tangled ends, can run my fingers through top to bottom without the usual entanglement skin clear, no irritation Have used this for 4 weeks now, still the same results every time. I mostly use it for rinsing my hair every other day so I can prolong the use of the filter, which is expected to last between 6-12 months. So worth it, I bought another one just last week because I like to keep more than one thing in stock just in case anything happens. I also bought the really Not a paid reviewer, completely out of my own pocket. hate when people do that sort of thing, I just cannot trust their word.

We live in London and have very hard water. This leaves a very large amount of limescale that is difficult to clean and also makes my hair dull, flat and dry and difficult to brush, as well as my skin dry and itchy. I've had two filters so far and they have both only just lasted 6 months. It's quite easy to tell when it's time to change them as the limescale starts to visibly appear and my skin gets dry and itchy again and my hair dull. This product really works for us and I have tried another brand that did not work so well. It is just a shame it is so expensive as we have to change it at least every 6 months.

After taking my first shower with this filter I am thrilled at how amazing my skin feels. You can really feel how soft the water becomes the minute you put the filter on. I woke up this morning and my skin looked so much healthier. I also didn't get that tight dry feeling when I got out of the shower. Even my hair feels so much softer. I'm so glad I found this product and if it lasts for as long as they recommend then it is well worth the price! I will update in a few months time on the how long it has lasted for me. (I am in London which is a hard water area) The company also sent me a free organic lip balm which I thought was a lovely touch. They also wrapped the box in nice blue tissue so it looked like a gift :)

I have bought two of these shower filters so far and I am sold on them. As soon as they are installed the odour of chlorine in my local tap water disappears entirely. The filters last a bout 6 months for me and I feel they are well worth the expense to have purer water for showering. If you buy one, note that they can installed in any orientation, either at the bottom of the shower head or at the wall where the water outlet attaches to the showerhead hose. For me the filter works bets attached at the wall rather than being attached to the showerhead since the filter makes the showerhead too heavy to use comfortably in the hand when needed. Note that as the filter ages, the accumulation of material in the filter medium cause the water flow to be reduced. So if you find that your water pressure isn’t what it used to be, it is probably time to change the water filter for a fresh one.

I bought this items twice. First time 5 Stars! Second time 2 Stars :( First time, it was great. Living in a country with tough water has started to make my hair fall out. Reading that these items can help I purchased it and it has done a great job to returning my hair to normal. My hair was not falling out in chunks as it previously has. As the manual said I replaced it once the gold bits turned dark brown/black. It took about half a year for it to completely look very very dark for me to replace. Perhaps I got an unfortunate batch but the second one turned immediately dark brown--happened within a month. As I said maybe it was just an unfortunate batch or something wrong on my end but will not take a chance in buying again as they are not cheap!

I live in an area of London where the water is particularly hard, always leaving excessive limsescale on everything, including our shampoo bottles. I have never seen anything like it after moving from a soft water area. I noticed that since moving to my present address, my hair has become drier and drier, as well as it falling out and breaking. It didnt matter how well i cared for my hair, i could never get it back to the way it was before i moved to London. That was until i bought the shower filter! I noticed after the first hair wash that my hair felt softer and less tangly and much shinier. I have now washed my hair three times and i can say my hair has returned to its original healthy condition albeit the ends probably need a trim :) I have also noticed that my body moisturiser has been working better for me and sometime i dont even feel i need to apply any at all! I definately recommend this product for anyone who suffers with the effects of hard water. What i would say is the first time you use it and you are washing your hair, shampoo your hair with a detox shampoo as this will strip all the chlorine and calcium/minerals that have been coating your hair while you have been using hard water. I noticed before i had the filter that my hair had tiny white specks coating it which i thought was product initially but turns out it was the lime/calcium from the water. Suffice to say, I shall be stocking up on these and i will also be buying their bath filter as well. Im hoping that it lasts me at least 6 months but even if it doesnt, it is still worth it if it makes a significant difference to you and your wellbeing :)

I've now bought two of these water filters as the water in my flat is so hard that it was bleaching my hair blonde and I was getting dermatitis on my skin. The first filter lasted about 6 - 7 months but as I said, the water in my area is very hard. Since using the filter, the dermatitis has gone and my hair is now back to its normal shade of brown! As mentioned in other reviews, the product does impact the flow of water in your shower so it is best when used with a fairly powerful water flow. It's incredibly easy to fit and just screws in to either the base of the hose that connects to the tap or to the shower head and it can be removed just as easily.

I'm so disappointed. After seeing such strong reviews for this product, I was really hoping it would work. I'm desperate. I moved to London 4 months ago and my hair is falling out in clumps and my skin is always red/itchy and oddly greasy and my pores look really big. I have always had dry sensitive skin, but this a completely different problem. With this shower filter - I don't notice a difference at all. I've even been washing my face with bottled water so my skin never has contact with unfiltered water, but as soon as I take a shower, my skin is irritated again. Still losing hair. For reference - I've had this installed on my shower head for a little over a month now. There is a bit of a drip on the one end as it only comes with one washer. No matter how much i tighten it, it still drips. Very disappointed :(
