I needed a new clock for my lounge and know from past experience that Seiko produce good quality products and reliable time keepers. I am very pleased with my new clock which has a pleasing design and is just the right size to fit my wall space. The clock is well made with clear figures and radio controlled reception. It is easy to install following the included instructions and certainly good value for money.

I had never heard of radio controlled clocks (or watches if it comes to that) and was looking to buy a pendulum clock but the prices of even the cheap ones put me off. I put in the Amazon search box 'Seiko clocks' and up came this radio controlled model. It has a wood surround and looks really good on our lounge wall, and there are no distractions of 'whistles and bells' such as temperature and date and all the other gimmicks manufacturers like to put on modern wall clocks. This is a SEIKO timepiece and they are top of the list when it comes to making fine clocks and watches. Even 007 wears one of their watches in a movie! Anyway, this clock is radio controlled from a relay transmitter in Cumbria, which picks up the signal from an atomic clock in Munich, Germany. It takes into account GMT and all you do is insert the battery that comes with it, and hang it on the wall. DO NOT TOUCH IT. It took our clock most of the day to find the radio signal, and it will move the hands around which is a bit spooky at first! Eventually, it found the correct GMT time and stopped at that, and is now working properly. It does say being in a city with tall buildings around you may stop the clock from receiving the radio signal. It comes with easy to read instructions and a guarantee. There are cheaper Chinese versions in shops but we are happy our Seiko is quality and will last a long time.

Clear, accurate and well made. Great that it came with a battery, too. As others have said, just put the battery in and wait (a few minutes) for it to find a signal by itself. The surround is a light oak colour, which matches my kitchen worktops perfectly, but this clock would suit any room (as long as its quiet tick isn't a problem). Good-looking and reliable - a perfect combination!

Fed up with consulting my 'phone or the TV in my lounge to find out the time, I wanted an attractive, accurate and reliable clock for the wall - and that is exactly what this Seiko is. It is well made, handsome and easy to see with clear Arabic numerals. It keeps perfect time, resetting itself around 01.00 each morning. I have had it for about a month now without any problems, and still find myself admiring it. An excellent purchase.

A nice looking wall clock , just right for my house . Take care when fitting the screw into the wall as it needs to protude a long way to engage in the slot at the back of the clock . After fitting the battery and putting the clock on the wall , the hands all moved slowly towards the twelve o'clock position where they remained for a few few minutes before reading the correct time taking maybe five minutes .

This clock has the classic good looks and reliability that I have come to expect from all Seiko products. I bought it to match the oak furniture and doors in my newly decorated hallway and am not disappointed. The fact that it is also radio controlled to assist in maintaining its accuracy is merely the icing on the cake.

There are small spacers which prevent fitting close to the wall so had to put up new fixings.This however was a small inconvenience and the clock matches in beautifully with our pine-clad ceiling and pine furniture.The plain numerals are a joy to read after the fashionable markings on the clock it replaced.I have had a Seiko watch for the last 25 years and apart from battery replacement it has been accurate and reliable so I have every reason to expect the same from this very pleasant clock.Quick delivery

Eigentlich eine sehr schön und solide verarbeitete Funkuhr. Nur leider empfängt sie eine nicht für DE geltende Zeit. Obwohl ich auch die manuelle Zeit eigestellt und vorgegeben habe, kehrt sie spätestens nach 24 Stunden zu unserer hier geltenden Winterzeit zurück. Entweder klappt die Zeitumstellung nicht oder ich empfange das Funksignal für die in GB geltende Zeit. Was tun? Vor die Wand schmeissen?

Questo è un orologio molto bello, ma non funziona. Non è colpa del venditore, ma di Amazon.it, che ha venduto a un cliente in Italia un orologio radiocomandato realizzato per l'Inghilterra e che funziona solo in Inghilterra. Non so perché Amazon.it dovrebbe farlo. L'orologio continua a resettare l'ora inglese anche se vivo in Italia. Il venditore è stato gentile e ha cercato di aiutare, ma questo è colpa di Amazon.it.
