The lock did rust not too bad I kept it on an outside tool box it worked great in the summer but in the winter the lock would freeze up and was really hard to unlock came with plenty of keys and was extremely heavy made

Weight is very heavy, solid dexterity quality of the lock is very hardy not bad for the price. Look forward to getting more in the future.

this lock is heavy, well built, and HUGE. awesome quality but I couldn't use it because it was way too large. The company gave me a partial refund and let me keep the lock.....just too expensive to send back to Switzerland. I still need to find someone that has a use for it. NOT a lock to use with bike chains of any sort........Maybe for a motorcycle chain to lock up but they chain loops have to be pretty large. I think that the shaft is 14mm I only gave it 4 stars because I cant use it............as for customer service I give them ************ a lot of stars :)

I purchased this for a shipping container at one of my rental properties and found it there this weekend beside the unit in pieces. When I questioned the contractor who rents the property and was storing items in the container he explained that he thinks the design allowed moisture to enter around the locking cylinder and it was difficult to remove and it popped open when he finally got it off and the lock cylinder was covered in rust. It's big and beefy but I wouldn't recommend it for an exterior application.

Love this lock. I used it to lock up my generator while camping.

Produit très lourd qui donne une impression de robustesse. La finition est bonne et l'aspect monobloc, massif, aura certainement un effet de dissuasion. L'axe tourne sur lui-même, donc plus difficile à scier, et le corps très épais découragera les adeptes du coupe-boulon : les deux branches ont une section de 25x25mm et les plus gros coupe-boulons tranchent difficilement plus de 18mm de fer doux. 5 clefs sont livrées, c'est pratique et n'oblige pas à faire immédiatement des doubles en prévision d'une perte éventuelle. Maintenant il serait intéressant de savoir combien ce cadenas dispose de goupilles et de combinaisons de clefs pour se faire une idée de sa résistance au crochetage ... en sachant toutefois que les casseurs d'aujourd'hui ne sont plus des "As" du crochet et cherchent surtout à aller vite en cassant et coupant. Et, de ce point de vue, ce cadenas donnera du fil à retordre. Dans mon cas acheté pour sécuriser un container maritime, 2 pièces pour plus de sécurité et au vu du prix. J'en suis très satisfait même si ce système, comme aucun autre je pense, ne m'apportera l'assurance d'une sécurité absolue.
