Got these chopstick rests for the same Japanese-style dinner my son put on for his school project, and they were awesome. Look very neat on a tray, as well as on a dinner and coffee table. Very compact, so you can have knife, fork and spoon right beside your plate. Work especially well on a lap tray. The wood is of high quality, so it cleans easy and dries fast.

I bought this for my children's table manners. I like the fact that it's unbreakable and lightweight. I'm worried about the smell of the food from the food since it is wood.

These are exactly what they look like, I haven’t had them long enough to say if they hold up over time well or not. But as of right now I haven’t had an issue with them, simple to use, look good, easy to clean, and hold where you put them.

I like that this will not break if I drop it. It's a good size and totally functional. Simple and design and would go with anything.

Thought I'd mention to fellow fountain pen lovers - and glass pen users - that these make for cute and, at 10 a pack, very cheap pen rests. Sure, it's not finely polished sakura wood from Kakimori but those run $50 and I can sometimes have a half dozen pens in rotation when I'm testing inks, so.... Of course, a few will find their place next to the ramen bowl where they also belong.
