Easy to install, no more leak
Worked perfectly. My in wall toilet cistern had been leaking water into the pan slowly for a week or so. I was able to change the original rubber seal for this one without removing the mechanism from the cistern, just turning it upside down in place. Much easier then taking all the components out like the youtube videos had instructed. Worked instantly, no more leaking water.

Not Branded
Same size as Gerberit but not branded like the genuine Gerberit washers (no markings at all). Is advertised as Gerberit but I expect that it isn't. Does the job though.

Perfect fit
A tiny bit thinner than original one however fits perfect and quality feels like original one so no more leakage and weird sound from water cistern.

Easy to replace and saves ££££s on plumbers bills
After many years service the flush valve in my toilet cistern began to fail, allowing water to continually run into the toilet pan. As with most flush valves it was likely to be a problem with a valve seal (soft rubber washer) not the flush valve itself. One quick turn, anticlockwise, and the valve was out revealing a rubber seal at its base that had a number of 'water blisters' on it. These blisters were the culprit by slightly lifting the seal and preventing a watertight fit. I simply punctured the blisters with a pin and replaced the flush valve. Problem temporarily solved, the valve shut off after flushing, as it should, with no water continually running into the pan. I found the required seal on Amazon when I looked up Geberit Flush valves (the name written on the valve itself) and for less than £2 I have now received and replaced the old seal. This has saved me £££s on a complete replacement valve when only the seal needed replacing, and even more £F££s had I called out a plumber to do this very easy task. It is also my understanding that these new transparent seals are not prone to blistering as was the old grey version. perfect for many years to come and well recommended.

Genuine part which fixed the problem
This genuine washer controls the outflow from the cistern when the flush is activated. They stiffen over time and get damaged by limescale. This causes a constant dribble of water into the lavatory pan. Changing this washer can be done without dismantling the whole cistern. Turn off water supply at stop cock or wherever convenient, access panel off, plastic cover removed, two clips on siphon unit depressed (a bit fiddly but no tools needed), siphon unit lifted out, coloured tubes from pneumatic button pulled off, siphon unit taken to kitchen and given a clean up with lime scale remover, quick spray with silicone (not actually necessary but I spray everything I can with it) pull off old washer, pull on new one, (check embossed writing is on the same side as on the old one (top I think), take back to bathroom and re-attach coloured pneumatic tubes, (if they are a loose fit then snip off a centimetre or so with scissors so the fit is secure on fresh tube) lower siphon unit back into cistern, squeeze clips again to make sure it fits securely, refit plastic cistern top panels, then access panel, turn on water supply, cistern fills and then its ready to go. One last thing, if the dribble of water continues, listen to make sure the inlet float valve has closed when the correct water level has been reached as a leaky inlet washer can cause similar symptoms at first sight. If that is the case you will need a new inlet washer which is even easier to fit!

Not the same as the original part
This is not an exact replacement for original Geberit flush valve sealing washer but it works. The original has a beveled side which fits snugly with the rounded base of the flush value. This one is flat on both sides.

Excellent Replacement
Old one had a few little raised bumps on rubber ( like blisters in/ on the rubber ) seal and caused a slow running leak . Replaced with these and took care of the problem . Perfect product and fixed in 5 mins .

The Real Thing
The item has generit brand and product code on it. Fits perfectly on geberit flush valve type 250s. Lately I hv notice t toilet doing intermittent refill. Suspect t flush seal not proper hence leaking and refilling. There were 2 blisters formed on the old seal preventing the valve to close properly. The new seal solves the problem.

Nickel !!
