it exceeded all my expectations. The production quality is superb, and every track feels carefully crafted. The artist’s vocals are powerful and emotive, perfectly matching the instrumentation. Some songs instantly became favorites, and others revealed new layers with each listen.

Love it arrived quickly and well packaged

There are not many albums where you get the greatest songs in one album. I suppose ABBA greatest hits and Michael Jackson greatest hits also some Taylor Swift albums but, other than that it is so hard to get many great tracks I counted 9 from the total album which all 9 deserve a number 1 annual spot on the billboard charts. Katy Perry's music producers and also herself as a singer are just so generous £6 for like 9 of the greatest songs astonishing.

I have always found Katy Perry's music infectious and uplifting when i hear it on the radio or TV, so i finally decided to go out on a limb and buy an album. I am glad that i chose this as the first one of hers to purchase. There are very few weak songs on the album which is a definate plus, and there are 1 or 2 absolutely cracking pop tracks. I am normally no fan of pop music, however i do appreciate when the effort is put in to craft an interesting melody and put lyrics that actually mean something to the writer together. Both the title track of this album and 'the one that got away' are magnificent examples of whistful melancholy pop music. I will happily listen to this whole album without skipping even the weaker tracks (california gurls being a good example) which for me these days is high praise indeed.

Last friday night: its all about katy perry has a big party at her house while her parents are out she falls in love with this boy at the party but he loves someone else until katys bf rebbeca gives her some awesome clothes and a pretty make over the boy falls in love with her and they dance the night away but katy doesnt know the geeky boy loves her...... califora girls: its about katy and her friends go on a beach like a girls day out and they see these hot boys and katy and her girls show the boy wat they got....... firework: its about a boy who thinks hes no good at anything but then katy tells him he is special and he is a firework of corouse the boy is too sad to know but at the end he feels like a firework...... peacock: its about katy wants to see a boys peacock but he dont want to show her cos hes scared but katy sings her peacock song and soon the boy shows katy his peacock..... circle the drain: is about katy has married this man she falled in love with but soon he gets annyoing and katy doesnt like living with him so she tries to tell him theres more to life than you...... the one that got away: is about katy and this boy have been friends since they were 5 and now wen they was 14 they fell in love and kissed and on katys 18th birthday they had the same tatoos but soon they fall out and the boy gets away..... Very cheap at the price thank you very much

I am new to Katy perry and bought this after seeing her part of me film/documentry at the cinema where I really loved the music and It made me then want to buy her albums. The complete confection has all her hits which are very poppy and catchy and I always find myself singing along. It has a few new tracks which are not on the teenage dream album. It has a very nice acoustic version of the one that got away, wide awake which was written for her film/documentry and a version of last friday night featuring Missy Elliott. It is a great album to listen to one I would not be without. Anyone who is a fan should definitly buy this if only for the extra tracks. Its a fantastic listen.

L’album se révèle très cohérent au niveau musical, il est clairement orienté Pop, bénéficiant de beaucoup d’influences diverses, comme la dance music, l’électronique, le hip hop, le disco ou le rock. Cette version, vendue à plus d’un million d’exemplaires, vient s’ajouter aux 6 millions d’exemplaires vendus de l’album original dans le monde entier, dont 3 millions d’exemplaires vendus uniquement aux States, fin 2013. Katy PERRY, confirme avec le succès mondial de cet album, qu’elle est une artiste qui compte et qu’elle est prête pour durer. Brisant bon nombre de records de vente, son album reçoit de multiples récompenses à travers les diverses cérémonies comme les Billboards Awards ou les American Music Awards. Ce fameux album, comment est-il ? Je vais essayer de répondre à cette question, en faisant un compte rendu aussi détaillé que possible de ce disque, afin que chacun puisse se faire sa propre idée. Cette réédition Complete Confection, outre les douze chansons originales, comporte trois nouveaux titres ainsi que quatre remix. Toutes les chansons sont vraiment excellentes et contribuent à créer un album haut de gamme, très homogène et de très bonne qualité. Les chansons « Peacock », « Circle The Drain » et « E.T. » sont très énergiques. La première, qui donne envie de danser, bénéficie d’une musique très accrocheuse. La deuxième, teintée disco, lorgne également vers la puissance du Rock, on ressent la colère de l’artiste à travers un texte qui décrit la destruction d’une femme à cause de l’addiction qu’elle éprouve envers son petit ami. La troisième, à l’ambiance électronique, comme son titre l’indique, fait référence à une personne étrangère dont on tombe amoureux. Les titres « Who Am I Living For ? », « Pearl » et « Hummingbird Heartbeat » se révèlent très puissants, notamment au niveau interprétation, où la voix de la chanteuse est superbement mise en valeur, assurant un rendu plein d’émotion et de passion. C’est tout simplement magnifique. On en vient à « Not Like The Movies », qui est la seule ballade de l’album. Plutôt douce et posée, comme son titre l’indique, à l’inverse des films, le texte raconte l’histoire d’une femme qui ne tombe pas amoureuse, mais attend le bon moment pour trouver l’homme qu’elle aime. Musicalement, ça commence doucement et monte en puissance progressivement jusqu’au final. Reste les chansons les plus connues, qui sont également celles sorties en singles. « Teenage Dream » qui donne aussi son titre à l’album, est très énergique et très entrainant, il en ressort un son un peu rétro, mélangé avec de la musique électronique et du disco. « Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) » est à mon sens le titre qui reflète le mieux la douce folie représentée ici, elle donne une furieuse envie de danser, légèrement teintée de Rock, le texte parle de faire la fête dans un club et les chœurs qui viennent s’ajouter à la musique, rendent l’ambiance encore plus délurée. « California Gurls » est comme son titre l’indique, un hymne rendant hommage à Los Angeles et au mode de vie Californien. en collaboration avec Snoop Dog, qui assure la partie Rap sur le morceau. « The One That Got Away » est fortement influencée Rock, et cela se ressent à travers les instruments utilisés, notamment la batterie. Maintenant, celle qui est ma chanson préférée, « Firework ». C’est un bijou, tout simplement. Très puissante, au niveau interprétation, la voix de la chanteuse est magnifiquement mise en valeur, toute sa passion y est à son plus haut niveau. Un plaisir pour les fans. Il se trouve que c’est également la préférée de Katy PERRY sur ce disque. Voilà, pour les chansons originales de l’album, nous pouvons maintenant nous intéresser aux bonus. D’abord, les nouveaux titres, qui sont aux nombres de trois. Le premier, « Part Of Me » est énergique et puissant, qui donne immédiatement envie de danser, il possède en outre un refrain très accrocheur, le texte raconte une rupture, de manière très émotionnelle. Le deuxième, « Wide Awake » bénéficie d’une musique à tendance électronique, très puissante, assurant que la voix soit bien mise en valeur, le texte parle de la fin d’une relation. Le troisième, « Dressin’ Up », très dynamique, révèle des influences musicales très mélangées comme le Rock, la musique dance ou électronique. Viennent enfin les remix, qui sont aux nombres de quatre. Ils reprennent « The One That Got Away », dont c’est ici la version acoustique, l’accompagnement musical est très dépouillé, aidée d’une guitare classique, la voix de Katy PERRY est superbe, révélant toute l’émotion à son maximum, des chœurs viennent compléter cette harmonie de manière parfaite. « E.T. » est une version Hip Hop de la chanson originale, en collaboration avec Kanye WEST qui s’occupe de la partie Rap. « Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) » est ici reprise avec la participation de Missy ELLIOTT, qui assure le côté Rap. Enfin, « Tommie Sunshine’s Megasix Smash Up » est comme son nom l’indique, un gigantesque remix qui condense six chansons parmi les plus connues de l’artiste : Teenage Dream / California Gurls / The One That Got Away / Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) / E.T. / Firework, le tout pour une durée à lui seul de sept minutes en totalité. En conclusion, je dirai que cet album représente une des meilleures productions réalisées par Katy PERRY à ce jour. Jonché de tubes, ce disque recèle de pépites apparentes comme de trésors cachés, suivant la sensibilité et l’influence musicale diverse de chacun. Très agréable à l’écoute et mélodieux à souhait. Une vraie réussite.

Come primi acquisti in termini di dischi musicali non potevo non scegliere questo mitico album pop di Katy Perry che ha segnato la mia infanzia e anche il periodo dei primi anni 2010, portando ben 5 numero 1 in vetta alla Billboard Hot 100 (6 se si considera "Part of Me" della versione deluxe) e, in generale, 8 singoli nella top3. Record condiviso nientemeno che con il Re del Pop Michael Jackson! C'è da aggiungere che ci sono anche canzoni al di fuori dei singoli che meriterebbero attenzione come ad esempio la ballad "Not Like the Movies" e la pop-rockeggiante "Hummingbird Heartbeat". Sicuramente, che piaccia o no, è un album che ha fatto la storia del pop del XXI secolo fino ad ora
