Perfect.
What can I say about this fantastic burner? Much actually... It's superb! Fire is a science and for that reason one has to use ones intelligence when working with it. The fire doesn't have a grate... Make one from wire mesh... this will help it draw. Two inch flexible exhaust pipe is perfect. Set it up right and you will aid the draw further. I use kindling as fuel... readily available from garages and garden stores. Chimney cowl made from a bird feeder. Fireguard from a Robin feeder. Heat guard Walls Ice cream sign. Heat output... 25 to 30 degrees c currently in my workshop... March UK! It isn't too small and it's efficient. Keeps me warm and coffee just right. What I'm saying is use intelligence and imagination and you can't go wrong.

Nice little item at a fair price.
Haven't used yet, but sturdily and attractively built. You can buy 2 inch flue pipe for this on Amazon. make sure you use a flue and understand principles of combustion of solid fuel.

Ideal for small shed/summer house
I’m really pleased with this. Heat out put is great for a tiny, tiny wood burner. Note is genuinely tiny. I bought it has having building work done so using our little summer house as an office for the next 4 months (late Sept until Jan). Wanted to heat it as cheaply as possible so bought this. As with another review I bought a 2 inch diameter, 2 meter long flexible exhaust pipe. That was a great tip. £19 then spent on an EPDM flue flushing kit and a few left over patio slabs was all it took. I used an old bird feeder bread holder which I cut to size and put in the bottom, this allowed air in under the timber off cuts. I also put a screw tucked in the side of the door slit to to keep the flap lifted up an inch, again to allow air in without having to have it open all the way. See pic. All in all chuffed to bits. Remember this is tiny. Wife laughed when she saw it - it’s about knee high but perfect for my little home office and now she’s seen it in action so has conceded I was right. Total finished cost £140, running costs zero as using off costs from the builders

Not what I thought
I reviewed this item for quite sometime, and looked at it all thoroughly before I brought it. You can not clean it well as there is a piece of steel in the way, it does not allow for air flow, I read that it is like a large coke bottle, which is wrong. It is more like a 1 litre bottle of coke, just a little larger. I have seen coke bottles that are 3 litres, so that comment on another persons review was wrong. The handle for the slide piece of steel, gets very hot, as it is a bullet casing. However, the mini wood burner, is great for heating the room.

It looks great just not enough room for wood.

Great item
Good for small spaces …shed , tent ect . If used extensively with extension to chimney buy a large pipe cleaner type brush to clean occasionally as it will narrow with soot and creosote diminishing performance.. lovely little burner in the correct setting.

Impressed
Not yet used. Looks of good quality and a decent size. Looking forward to using it in my tent this winter once I have a flue and spark arrestor.. Ok, after a couple of early January camps in the cold I can certainly say it packed enough heat to warm my 2man poncho tent. I fitted an exhaust and spark arestor. Got it roaring. Not tried it with coal yet.
