Saramonic SR-WM4C Wireless 4-Channel VHF Lavalier Omnidirectional Microphone System (200' Range)

Bought this for business presentation video recording as our MD wanted wireless and it works extremely well Pros: Good clear sound quality on all 4 channels, can be used without the antennas (didnt test at range), quick to put together and get running with Laptop and camera, monitor function is handy. Cons: Build quality could be better, feels flimsy till you get the batteries in, wind shield came off easily when moving, niggles but not that bad I would down rate it It does everything I need at a reasonable price

I received these recently having ordered them after watching several YouTube reviews. They are very well packaged and presented. The construction of the units is primarily of plastic, but they are robust and do no feel overly flimsy. If like me you intend them for studio / occasional use then they should stand the test of time. As the microphone is powered it has a "hotter" output than the wired lavalier microphone I have been using. Bear this in mind and lower your record levels accordingly. I also found the microphone has a bit more of an open sound than my usual Lav and picks up a little more of the ambient noise in the room. All in all this is a fabulous low cost unit. I am certainly considering more Saramonic kit.

I have tested this unit quite a lot over the past 7 days and it has performed perfectly, especially considering the price. The included microphone does the job and performs well for voice, but you can add your own microphones with an adapter. I made my own because there doesn't seem to be one available and I couldn't work out if any of the ones available for other bodypack systems would worked for sure. The build quality is OK and will last provided it is treated appropriately. If you want to use it in more extreme conditions then I would suggest using some kind of case or protector. Something I discovered was that the power switch on the transmitter has to be pushed to the 'on' position in two clicks. I don't know if this is common, but if it seems your device isn't working just make sure you slide the switch fully to 'on'.

I was relying on this at a wedding and the system kept on crackling. I thought it might be the headphones jack but when I got the audio back into the computer its crackling all over the place. I now do not have great audio for that part of the wedding will have to use very ordinary audio from the camera. I guess you get what you pay for and thank god for Amazons great returns policy... I will get the rode mic system instead.. buy nice or buy twice..

This product as in the medium to good range products and materials. By no means does this look premium?, It will stand out more than other products with their receiver and transmitter pack.. This product may not meet UK frequency allocations for radio mics, bought in test and worked well with a video camera, range is good, battery life is fair to good and takes 2AA batteries in each unit. The transmit uses a tie Mics which is a good quality and sound, with a good amount of cable to get from your belt to your tie. This is easy to use. Disconnect to cables placed the batteries into the battery compartment. And away you go.. Very mind, the antenna is fairly large to other brands on the market, I will describe these in their budget range of radio Mics, but we’re good sound quality in my test. If using these in the field, I would recommend ensuring you have a pack of AA batteries with you whilst on assignment, there is no display on this product. Just two switches. One to turn it on and off and the other way to select between four channels Would I recommend?, What is a question that will depend on what you intend to use it for?, If you are a IN YouTube creator., I would say no, if you want to use these if you are just starting on YouTube then yes, or is your intent to use them? On family videos, it will be a yes.. but do not expect Dolby quality sound. The sound is good enough to use. But as a radio amateur and having an online radio station., they sound quality would not be adequate for these products. But they are easy to connect to a video camera pro providing it as the flash connector, or light connector on top of the unit, which most video cameras should have.

The quality is so bad, I'm not recommending this product. Waist of money

Veramente un buon radio microfono. raggiunge i 60 metri di portata impostando la frquenza più alta tra le 4 ovvero canale D. qualità audio ottima. niente rumore di fondo. con il trasmettitore al quinto piano all'interno e ricevitore all'interno dell'ascensore il segnale audio era ottimo!! Se serve ruotare l'antenna per migliorare il segnale. Comodo il monitor cuffia sul ricevitore. Il volume sul ricevitore serve per dare guadagno a piacimento.Lo ho accoppiato con un Saramonic - Adattatore Audio a due canali per DSLR AX100. Lo straconsiglio!

A pesar de que su diseño y exterior se ven de mala calidad y hasta cierto punto “chafa”. Es muy bueno, mejor que otras opciones que puedes encontrar en Amazon. Lo único que tiene es que viene con un control de volumen.

Excellent wireless microphone. The sound quality is excellent. You can adjust the volume level on the device. Got this to use on my GoPros. Works great. Don't forget the GoPro adapter. What's bad is that it feels like a toy because it's made out of plastic. The trade off is it's very light. It looks good, it just feels cheap. It would probably break the 1st time you drop it. I would like to see this made out of metal and a battery meter would be nice. If you are recording for a period of time make sure you have fresh or fully charged batteries. Really like that it uses AAs. I get no static or cutting out even when the line of sight is broken. I went about 75 feet with no interference or cut out and you can go longer if you are in a wide open space with nothing around. I'm usually within 20ft of my camera and this works flawlessly with great sound. Comes complete except batteries. Simple plug and play. Definitely a great purchase for the price. Couldn't be happier.
