Arrived, and although it didn’t have tube and the plastic had crumpled at one end, after unrolling and stretching, it did straighten and when laid; it made an old man very happy! (My dad!) it is doing a great job at protecting his beloved runner (rug) The product was good value, for a product that appears very good quality.My only gripe, was the way it was packaged.

Our reason for purchasing a length of Plastic Carpet Protector was that we wanted it to be the first thing we or the dog or anyone else walked on upon entering the house in wet or snowy weather (as we've only recently had new carpeting laid) and to that end it is largely successful. When it lies flat it is brilliant, but every so often it'll curl, causing either the door to foul it when opening or for it to slip across the carpet a few inches. On balance it does what we wanted and at no great expense, but once we get into the warmer and hopefully drier weather it will be put away until next winter, but I'd certainly buy another length should the need arise.

Arrived in a roll but was soon flattened simply by putting a few heavy books on it for half an hour. Did not detect an unpleasant smell as did other buyers. Seems quite sturdy. Thought it was a bit misleading that the product is advertised as free delivery. When you look a bit closer this is only for an extremely small amount which I doubt very few customers would want. Overall very pleased with the product.

This is the best carpet protector at front/back door.Especially for all those muddy boots etc.Can easy wash off.Wouldn't put on stairs though.Thanks.Very good quality,and price.

Looks like corrugated iron. I thought that after walking on it for a week, it would flatten out but no! It's protecting the carpet, as promised, but is now a trip hazard to me.

This has dimples on the bottom so not suitable for hard floors such as tiles or laminate / wood floors but does cling well to carpet which to be fair is what it’s designed to do. I don’t think it looks too good but I only needed a small patch as a temporary measure so no complaints. I’m sure it would work well e.g. over carpet in a well trodden hallway.

I only wanted a small piece to put next to parrot cage so was really pleased to see this sold this way. However, I received a jagged piece that wasn't cut to size with a tear in. I will just get the size I need if I can find something to cut it cleanly but I'd ordered this to get the specific size. It's a shame they decided to send me this piece like this as I was going to order more after Christmas for other areas as you can order by the length - I found another seller after.
