Gorgeous but not durable
Love the look of these plates but the quality is spot on with the price. Color variation between and among the two sets I purchased seems normal and beautiful to me. Only one bowl was cracked upon arrival. They should hold up to regular gentle use but I expect that even a slip in the sink will cause breakage. The return policy isn't "easy" as some have said; "reasonable" is a better description. Would buy again.

I never write reviews, but the Mikasa Verona plate set are 5 star everyday all day long. One minor thing not a deal breaker, I would have liked the outside of the mugs to be the matte black.

I have had this set for 6 years. I accidentally broke to plates. Just replaced recently. This is my good China set. I absolutely love it!! Very durable and elegant. Delivery took longer than expected. It arrived in great shape. I would recommend this set for sure.
