Hi there! Sea salt sprays do not damage hair! Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray has been formulated with dead sea salt. After you apply, the product evaporates and leaves behind that salt on the hair. As the salt crystallizes, hair is left with added texture and grit that's perfect for creating tousled, texturized, beach waves with separation and body. This salt doesn't penetrate strands and can be easily washed off with your favorite NYM Shampoo and Conditioner!

Q: Would this work as a hairspray? I have straight hair so if i curled it and then sprayed it in my hair would it make it stay longer?

Usually I air dry my hair and spray this on. My hair is so much healthier since I switched to this product. Regular hair spray dried out my hair. I am not sure if you curled it and sprayed this it would stay all day. If I want a little more lift at the top of my head I use regular hair spray along with Beach Babe.
