Renovo RFC1126 International Fabric Soft Top Cleaner 500 ml, Neutral

Fantastic results in just a few hours. We had neglected the roof of our mini for a few years other than to give it a spray with water when washing the car. So the roof was very green and definitely not looking it's best. I saw someone recommended this product, and it inspired me to get to work on making our soft top look good again in time for spring and summer. This works like magic. Paint it on, leave for an hour (due to how bad our roof was) and then give it a scrub with a brush and rinse off. It was looking so much better after just one treatment but I have to admit the the results pictured were after three goes. However the last two I only gave it 10 minutes each to work before brushing. I used pretty much the whole bottle. Rinsing until no more foam appeared took me a while though. But the end result is fantastic. I definitely recommend this product

I have a 14 year old BMW E46 convertible. I never did anything special to the roof before and it started to look a bit tired and grey. So July 2014 I bought 500ml each of this Cleaner, the black Reviver and the Ultra Proofer. The cleaner certainly took off more dirt than normal cleaning, although having paid a lot for the stuff I was probably trying harder too. The dye made it look very nice and black while the proofer made the canvas repel water like it were metal. The one thing it will not do is completely even out the crease marks and shiny bits where the roof rubs when folded. I am guessing nothing will do that. All in all a good buy. I will probably do it once a year from now on.

Used this on my BMW 330 CI 2004 vert. The soft top is in relatively good condition already but decided to give it the full treatment - see my other reviews for the Renovo colour rejuvenator (dark blue) And Renovo water proofing products. I used this soft top cleaner to prepare for the others and I like to stick to one manufacturer if possible - synergy an all that. Amazing results with this cleaner. It is the only one I have used but I will not be going anywhere else. The hood was damp when I started which saved me dampening it down. Used a new 2 " brush and worked in the cleaning solution in sections across the roof. There was a little bit of lathering but nothing to really to mention (even though I have!?), but that is normal. Left it to soak in for an hour, the instructions advise 20 minutes but the Renovo video on YouTube mentioned an hour. As long as you don't let it dry out as assume it just eats into the grime better. Anywho, filled up a bucket with hot/warm water and commenced gently scrubbing with a brush I picked up for 99p from..... The 99p shop! The brush was nylon not soft but not hard either. I adjusted the pressure on the brush so it was activating the cleaner but hurting the fabric. The top came up in a lovely lather, bringing out the dirt, green algae (that I did not even notice!) and 'stuff' that had built up in the fabric. I paid particular attention to the joints when applying the cleaner and whilst lathering. I continued to throughly wash off the dirt and residue after I'd finished the entire roof with clean water from a hose. It sounds obvious but don't use the same water you've been dipping your brush in previously. The results were great the top looked so clean I even considered not using the dye on the next stage (I'm glad I did though - see review). Overall brilliant product! Thanks!!

My old Audi A5 soft top, was looking extremely tired. Had watched a YouTube video and they suggested this. Worked it into the roof using a drill with a cleaning brush attachment and it drew all of the dirt in the roof out cleared all the green algae stains from around the edges. Afterwards I used Renovos reviver and I wouldn't say it looks show room new but as close as possible in my opinion. Two very good products.

Always used other products for this job and this was the first time with Renovo cleaner and proofer. Because they are brushed on it is so much easier than spraying, even the tiniest breeze can cause the spray to waft off target. My hood looks like new and the rain just runs straight off, absolutely no penetration of the fabric even after heavy prolonged down pours. Excellent products!

A lot of work for pretty much the same results as any other cleaner. Stick to Autoglym it’s cheaper and has better results.
