Vanz® HQ Registed – Men's Wristwatch, Leather Strap

The thing I love most is that this is the first watch I've had in years where i don't have to reach for my spectacles to tell the time. The time is always displayed as the hour plus the minutes past - so it's never minutes to the hour which may confuse some folk at first. It has a nice bright display which is easily visible outside in sunshine whilst in the dark I found it almost bright enough to read by. Not sure what affect this will have on battery life but time will tell. Even though the instructions are in badly translated English, it's not that difficult to work out the set up and usage procedure - just requires a little patience. I would have appreciated some instruction on replacing the battery and on the type to use but this info is absent from the instructions. One minor niggle was that the watch will sometimes operate when it is touched by clothing such as a coat or shirt sleeve but I suppose with a touch screen this can be expected. All in all, a good product.

Its a nice design and its obvious that the whole £7.50 the watch costs was spent on ts looks and not its ability to function. Had it all of 30 minutes, set the time on three different occasions and each time I checked it, it displayed a random time. I did read reviews about it not working but also some that did say it worked ok so thought I would give it a try. The actual idea is great as it is an unusual timepiece, shame its all looks and no function. On its way back for a refund, would give it a miss if I were thinking about buying one.

Had the watch a few weeks now. It looks great - takes a firm 'touch' or swipe to respond - most of the time. Sometimes it does seem to get set off by a sleeve or something. When the face is pressed, you get one of multiple light effects (e.g. every LED lighting once in sequence to make the dot run-around the dial), then the LED representing the hour flashes and the other LEDs light to show the minutes. It's pretty easy once you've seen it (plenty of YouTube videos). Setting it was a little fiddly, there seem to be variations of how to get them into setting mode - ours responded to the tap eight times and tap-and-hold the ninth time approach - again, look on YouTube as there are no instructions included. Strap is not high quality but seems okay so far. Generally a very different and stylish watch, quite a talking point and fun for the price.

Ok so I would have given the watch 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't for the following. 1. Once you get passed the instructions on how to set it, it still is difficult to do so. One tap becomes 3-4 taps on the watch or none at all. 2. The screen is so sensitive that from a jumper brush or a face touch the watch is on and without you noticing it even changes the time when you don't realise that it was on so it has gone into set time mode. I've had to buy a screen protector to be less sensitive. 3. It's plated black so after a few day the it's wearing off so I can see the silver underneath. Other than that is it a great watch so if you can get over the above it should be fine. I do love the novelty of it thought.

Amazing. Everyone who thinks it is broken are mad because if you hold your finger on the screen for long enough you can set the time. If you press the watch face until the light comes on it works. The o lynch problem was strap was not lasting long. But the face is amazing. You can see it in sunlight and dark and it also looks very good. Many people at my school are amazed by it. Everyone complaining don't really deserve anything as good as this watch. It has a great price too! Very happy I bought.

I have only had this watch for a few days so can't testify as to its reliability. However, I love it. It looks expensive (apart from the strap which can be replaced) and it's so unusual. I quickly became accustomed to reading the time in this unusual format. Setting it was a breeze and despite other reviews, I found the instructions very clear. I think they have improved this as it was slightly different to how mine was set. Highly recommended, especially at such a low price.

[...] I recieved the watch before the expected date! However I was very dissapointed when I checked the watch out, the touch was quite unresponsive (video attached). Anyway, the design and look is quite 'expensive' looking and does look kinda cool. .....and I did not recieve it in a box.. which could be the reason why it does not respond so well. I have contacted the seller, hoping they will send me another watch which does work.

Watch arrived quickly and well packaged, albeit with no instructions, as other reviewers have said, but not that difficult to work out. Upside - eye catching and amusing, quirky gimmick. Downside - Kept losing / changing time, turned itself on/off at random, stopped working completely after a week! In the bin. Cannot recommend this and will go back to `proper` watch. Lesson learnt.
