Prym611916-1 Steam Iron Mini with UK Plug, White, 19 x 17 x .95 cm

I found this iron to be lightweight, easy to use and in good working order. It helps with ironing smaller pieces of garment samples at home for my tailoring course when a normal sized iron is just to big to work with. There’s no leakage, comfortable to hold, comes with a small pouring container to place water in the iron for steaming. I’ve not used the steam feature yet but will update when I have. It’s also portable to travel with and May consider buying the carry case for the iron in the future, and it’s good value for money, which I purchased at a discounted price. I bought the PRYM ironing mat also to go with my PRYM iron. I highly recommend this product and wouldn’t be without it for all my small ironing tasks. Just perfect!

This little iron is perfect for workshops or if your creative space is limited. Also useful as travel iron. Heats up quickly, gets into corners and curves.

Perfect for crafting, easy to use and gets to a good temperature. This little iron makes preparing hems lots easier rather than a bit clunky iron. Only slight negative is that it takes a while to heat up but otherwise it’s perfect.

I do a lot of hand sewing especially rag dolls, animals and dolls clothes so needed something small and controllable to press seams etc.This is perfect for the job. It’s extremely lightweight, the temperature is very controllable and has a good steam setting. I’ve tried other small irons before and not been very happy with them. This one is by far the best.

Performs really well for its size and is good value for money. Easy to grip and use. Saves having to get full size iron and board out for a single item.

I was so perplexed when I cut open the sealed iron to see the cable burnt and damaged, I thought how can some have used this and returned when the item was sealed. Reading further reviews seems to be a common trend that items are packed with damaged cables, very disappointing and concerning from and fire safety perspective

As a professional sewer with 25+ years experience, you think you've found all the gadgets worth having, but then this comes along and one wonders how you lived without it.This is no weedy travel iron. I sometimes work for 20+ hours sewing, so need all the help I can get. This iron has made such a big difference. I have almost totally ditched my normal steam box iron for this. Easy to hold, it fits in the palm of the hand and it's mini sole plate makes pressing seams so easy, especially tiny, delicate seams like french seams on chiffon. I am an Haute Couture dressmaker, so the fabrics I use are expensive and spoil easily. The normal iron seems so huge and clumsy now and very heavy. This also has controllable steam and is easy to refill. A lovely non stick soleplate too. There is nothing I don't like about this. If you quilt, this is for you. It can easily be used near a sewing machine on a mini ironing board, cutting out the endless jumping up and down to use a normal iron and board.Highly recommended.
