Lift the Flap Atlas: 1 (See Inside): with a giant world map poster

My daughter is 3 and loves lift the flap books and this far has only had storybook style ones that have been really good, but not educational, so when I stumbled across this atlas, I thought I'd give it a go, and for the money it is an absolute steal! I would highly recommend it to any parent with a child who has an inquisitive mind and likes the idea of travelling the globe. My daughter already has a number of places in the world that she wants to travel to but this will ignite her imagination even further and teach her a lot more than solely a map could. So much information crammed into such a colourful and beautifully illustrated book. Love it! :)

My 6 year old son really likes this book.

4th flap book i have bought for my 2 grandchildren. They love them they are informative, fun, bright and good value. It has a good world map that is a pull out . Would highly recommend

Beautiful books for toddlers. Reading books is a good habit and creating that intrest is our responsibility as parents. Usborne flap books are awesome. Along with fun, it is a learning experience. Not just children, we adults as well learn new things.I would.like to thank usborne for providing such wonderful books.I got a collection now. anybook i need , i just filter by brand usborne and starting looking for books.ThQuality brand usborne.

Brought this for my 3 year old as he wanted to know where Bluey lives and where volcanoes are. It’s a great book but perhaps too ‘busy’ for his age. More Shiites to 4 years and up hence 4 stars.

Grandson loves this book …very informative

I looked at a few children's atlases before deciding on this one as it strikes a good balance between interactivity and detail. My little one loves looking at the pictures and opening the flaps showing the different features of the countries and when he gets a little older, there is enough information in the book to keep him interested until he is old enough for a more comprehensive one. The world map with all the flags is excellent too, we spent a long time looking at these and picking which ones were our favourites.

It’s a book for children, so just simplify the world and mark Taiwan belongs to China as it claims? I say just because the book is for children, the author needs to pay attention to explain the world in a neutral way. If you are a Taiwanese you don’t buy the book for your children.Usborne did self-censor for whatever reasons. I recommend Atlas from lonely planet instead.
