The best strings (for me anyway)
I've always used Rotosounds, yellow for my rock guitars, and grey for my jazz box. They have always been reliable, never break, last for a good while, stay clear and trebly. AND you get a free extra 1st string.I've never understood why they are often poo-pooed by guitarists, but when I saw Paul Davids doing his Youtube blind comparison test recently and Rotosound were the clear winner, it just cemented in my mind why I like them. This triple pack is great value, PLUS a free guitar strap is included (donated to my local music dept). You can't lose!

Good solid strings that last
It seems that everything Alan Entwistle touches is good, from his pickups to the strings. I bought them as they were on offer and I am not disappointed. Good sound, good playability, price is ok and they last and stay in good shape even after heavy playing.Would recommend everyone to give them a shot.

UK made by British company and the best
I bought these after watching a YouTube video by Paul Davids in which he did a blind ‘shoot-out’ on sound quality. They beat Elixir and D’Addario to take the winning spot. So? He was right. They’re my favourite electric strings to date. It’s going to be interesting to see how durable these are. These are also made in the UK by a British owned company with a long tradition of innovation. So as well as quality good enough for some of the greatest guitarists of all time, purchases are pumping money back into our economy and not the USA or China.3 sets of strings and a guitar strap for £17? Bargain. 3 sets of strings and a strap for £20.90 a few months later? Not so much of a bargain, but still excellent value. They'd have been even better value if the top E hadn't suddenly snapped, whilst the guitar was on its stand. I checked the nut, the string tree and the string's neck tuner aperture for rough areas. There were none. There's no spare top E with the packs in this set. And they are obviously put in other packs for a reason. Tone wise though they are great.

You STILL get an extra top E string! Simply the best.
I've been playing guitar for over 50 years. Rotosound strings are my favourites. I started on blues and then punk, now playing jazz. I've tried more expensive strings, but keep coming back to these. Great value for money. And you STILL get an extra top E string! Simply the best.

Was disappointed, now love them
These strings seem to be a higher tension than what I'm used to as the neck of the bass really bowed after putting these on. After that was out the way, I have to conclude that the marketing fluff doesn't translate well to my playing. Because of the higher tension I get an annoying clack when I start to dig in, and there is a really irritating noise when I move my fretting hand up and down the neck. I get this noise on all strings, but it's really pronounced here. For the positives, the B string is really clear and even compared with the other strings, and if the manufacturer is to be believed I would welcome the longer lasting nature of these strings, but they don't seem particularly bright when new. These strings didn't last long on my bass. As strings are so personal I cannot say that they're terrible, but they're certainly not for me, and the high tension probably should be clearer stated on the packet.--Update after 4 months: The bass went in for a service and has had the pick and neck adjusted. The strings now sound much much better. The annoying finger noise is attenuated and I now "get" what the strings are all about. I think it's as good as any other strings I've tried, and I look forward to seeing how long they last. One thing I absolutely love about these strings is that the same note on different strings sounds similar in tone. I've not experienced strings that do this as well as these strings do. This means that you can switch position in the middle of a phrase and there's no jarring tone shift. In short, I've bumped from 3 stars to 5 stars, assuming the promise of longer lasting holds.

Incredible value for money
I have been using the Ernie ball Slinky Cobalt strings for a long while and super slinkies before that. Randomly came across these in a youtube video comparing different guitar strings. Seeing how cheap these are and how good they sounded in the video I had to try them, boy am I glad I did. They sound bright, lively and have a real depth to their sound. They also feel just as good as Ernie Balls, they're comfortable and easy to bend but without sacrificing any quality. Really can't fault them, paying around ~£5.50 for a set of really solid guitar strings in 2024 is unheard of. Try them out, you won't be disappointed.

Stupendous
Simple package. Strings in great condition. I chose size eleven white for the first time . Im very impressed. Out of the bag theyre almost streched ready to play. They feel great. Tonaly perfect for my bitza strat v6 icon.Quality sound. Like hot treacle over a brand new shovel. Easy to bend without over doing it. Theyre going to last. As i said strong stable tuning. I cannot say enough good things! Well done rotar! Well done. Im changing all mt electrics to these strings. The highs are moreish. The mids pop. And the bass is never fluffy. Incredible
