OSMO Intensive Deep Repair Mask 1200 ml

The tub is huge! I saw reviews and thought it might be big but I didn’t expect it to be that huge! It is very thick so might even last for 6 months or more. It came in one piece and carefully packaged with bubble wrap for extra protection. I have wanted to try it and wanted to ideally leave it over night but as I would have not had time to wash my hair in the morning I thought I’d give it a try for a quick one hour treatment whilst I do my face mask and nails. After washing it off I was pleasantly surprised. I had black hair and now it is blonde so it was seriously bleached over the last year. I have tried many hair masks on the market. I dried my hair and where normally it would be frizzy, hard to brush and puffy it was perfectly soft and more shiny. It has made a difference the first time and I am in love with it! It is such a good value for money. I will carry on using it as conditioner until my hair gets more healthy and a hair mask once a week. If you are thinking twice about buying this go for it! Do not think if you spend money on more expensive product it will work. I have tried many more expensive masks that did nothing this is truly an amazing product and I am so happy I found it.

Salon quality

I bought this hair mask in May 2023 and I am still using it. For reference, my hair is fine but I have a lot of it, and I used to have 20" long hair and have recently cut it into a bob, as well as bleaching and dying it multiple times, both at hairdressers and at home with box dye. This is the best hair mask I've ever used, and every time I use it, my hair feels like it's brand new and silky. The mask smells incredible but not overpowering. It is not quite thick but not too thick, but with the pressure jet on the shower, it washes out easy and feels like I've just had a luxury treatment on my hair.

I initially purchased this huge 1200ml tub years and years ago, purely due to its cheapness for the quantity and usefulness in applying it in the morning to my coconut oil drenched hair (I sleep with natural coconut oil, warmed to melt and applied to my hair overnight a couple of times a week). I used to rely on using repeated applications of a clarifying shampoo to thoroughly remove a coconut oil mask out of my hair in the morning, but couldn’t help feeling all this shampooing was negating any benefits of using oil on my hair overnight. Then 7 years ago a Polish friend with beautiful highlighted waist-length naturally blonde hair asked me why I was using shampoo instead of a conditioner to remove the coconut oil from my hair? You what!? But her explanation made complete sense from a scientific point of view and made me change what I was doing. I immediately stopped using shampoos to try and remove the coconut oil seeped through my long hair. Instead, I applied a copious amount of ‘any conditioner’ (as Ewa suggested it didn’t matter what sort) to my oily treated hair BEFORE getting into the shower/bath. I needed to thoroughly combine the applied conditioner to all of the coconut oil in my hair. Once copiously applied and deeply massaged to cover every strand (no need to wait once achieved), I would rinse my hair under the shower. Miracle! The conditioner’s properties made it bind with the coconut oil in my hair so when I rinse it out, out came the coconut oil at the same time. Amazing. No need for the multiple shampooings anymore. After rinsing the conditioner and oil combo from my hair, I could then wash and treat it as I normally would. On occasions I’d not even use a shampoo and conditioners afterwards, but after rinsing my hair thoroughly just combed it through and dry it. It would look fine if my hair hadn’t been dirty before the coconut oil sleep mask! So… this is how I found this OSMO tub of conditioner here on Amazon. At the time it was mega cheap for its usefulness to me: for its overly generous quantity, for its quality, and appropriate thickness of consistency to mix well with the coconut oil to combine with and remove it. Between 2019 and 2023 this exact product cost ~£10-£11 with Prime free delivery. My last purchase was on 24th June 2024 when this OSMO 1200ml tub cost me exactly £12.37 with delivery. Is this conditioner good for the above purpose I use it for? 100%. Is this product good as a nice, thick, decent, stand-alone hair mask conditioner for dry or damaged hair? 100%. My gripe and reason for dropping to its review to 4 stars is that I’ve been spoilt for too long buying this product for >£12.50 for years. I know everything on the planet has bizarrely risen dramatically in price, often increased over and again during the past couple of years, but I loved my OSMO find for its bargain value which I can’t quite sell to myself anymore, not now that it’s creeping up to £20 for the same size tub I was buying for just over a Tenner since 2019!

I absolutely love this product it’s the only product I use to condition my hair I’ve been trying to grow my hair for a very long time and this is the only thing that has helped me grow it fast. I now use it on my daughters hair and leave in after I’ve shampooed the hair, I then give it a little rinse to keep most of it inside the hair as it’s a great way to keep your hair conditioned & clean for longer. its absolutely amazing. A pea size amount is more than enough to run through the wet hair. It’s so conditioning and it makes your hair stay clean for at least a week as I don’t like washing my hair often soo not washing it for a week. It helps to keep it nice and fresh as well as it feels very very thick it gives it that a volumising effect it’s just absolutely amazing. I love this product so so Much , and it’s very long-lasting as you get so much for your money, highly recommend this product.

HUGE TUB! Worth every penny. Between my husband and myself, this lasts us a couple months or more. Makes your hair very smooth. I also use it as a leave in conditioner. This is now my husbands favorite conditioner (he has very long hair) this helps him manage his long hair.

I really love this Hair Mask: great quality and the tub is huge. I got this Mask recommend by a YouTuber and l normally never buy anything, but l thought its worth a try. And I'm so glad l did. My hair is silky smooth and looks and feels healthier ❤️

I was very conscious of the reviews claiming to get knock offs and I still believe this could have happened to them. However, what I got seems to be “legit”, the smell is a gross candy coconut/pineapple, and it’s very strong but some people may like that:) the tub is huge which is very respectable. And I’ve tried the actual product twice now and the results seem legitimate. It makes the hair very soft, but seems to over moisturizer a little so if you have even slightly curly hair (like I do) the moment you go outside you are gonna have a frizz situation:) I would still recommend it, just follow with a moisture lock for curly hair on the days you use the mask and you should be good! Update: I am now at the end of my giant jar after using it every week for two months:) I actually really love it! The smell doesn’t linger in your hair:) and after consistent use my hair has become the softest it has ever been! I will be purchasing more:) again, the reviews about people receiving products that they are having VERY different experiences with concern me, and if I order another product and get something different I will update my review to reflect this! But so far, the product I received I have enjoyed. But I do not disbelieve the other reviews and will advise that buyer beware:) if it smells like “glue” or chemically as others describe I wouldn’t put it on your hair! The correct product has a candy pinnaple/coconut scent. Please be careful.
