What length is each placer?

The placer is only about 5cm long, and quite flexible, making it very easy to manoeuvre the elastic into place in the mouth.

How do you get band onto placer please ?

My son used his fingers to put the elastic band over the hook on one half of his brace (i'm not sure now if he started with upper or lower hook) and then used the placer to pull and loop the band over the opposing hook. He did quite quickly get the hang of the whole operation without the placer, but the placer really helped at first.
