2-in-1 Trolley Tote Set – Expandable Shopping Bags 2 Small 2 Large Great For Food Shopping

As a solution for a problem these are spot on - rare these days. We are out in the sticks and get most of our groceries by van delivery, but we are also on a steep rise at the top of three long flights of steps. We're trying to cut down on plastic and so opt for delivery without bags, but trying to transfer fragile packs and bottles into our floppy re-usable carriers at the bottom of the steps in the wind and drizzle, while the delivery driver taps his foot has been something to look forward to with dread for the last couple of years. No more. These bags stand up when you unfold them and stay standing firm while you load them up, they don't blow away if it's windy and they are canvas and proof against light rain. Together, they also hold a large family shop. They're also ideal for their intended purpose, i.e. in the trolley when visiting the supermarket, but they fit into the car so well that we just leave them standing up in the boot if it's not raining, dump all the groceries straight into the trolley at the checkout, then pack them into the bags in the boot at our leisure. Saves time and frayed tempers in the store. The bags are very robust and can hold a huge amount, but are comfortable to carry even when well filled. Stars out of five - six!

These are very sturdy.

Reusable shopping bags that can be extended upwards to fit a full height trolley. Sort of sturdy enough to stand up on its ow when extended. Useful when doing scan-your-own shopping (ie when you don’t have to pull out all your shopping to check out). I’ve found it difficult to pack-/fold-down as much as when they originally arrived but that’s to be expected. Sometimes I wish I bought the ones with the two bars so that they can hang onto the trolley, but they are still good for the small shopping at the local shops where the bars might get in the way or you have to remove them each time. Thinking about it, I’d probably have removed the bars and never bother to put them back for trolley shopping so am probably not missing out. Quality is good and seem like they will last a long time.

Fairly pleased with these but they are a bit fiddly to open up and fold after use. they could do with being a bit squarer. The largest ones are too big and you have to be careful not to have too much heavy stuff in them. the larger ones also tend not to stay open for loading. It is useful to be able to make them smaller by folding the upper section inside but this is very fiddly to do. The second set of handles get in the way a bit and i have cut them off the smaller bags as i will never need to make them smaller. However they have overall made it much easier when i do click and collect for my shopping to load up without having to purchase supermarket bags. they are very strong and should last a long time.

Pros: I do like the fact these convert from small to large - I have often used this feature, when I buy more than I intended. They fit snuggly in the trolley. Seem quite sturdy and stand upright unlike some canvas shoppers. They are all I need to do a supermarket shop (except for an insulated bag in summer). I find myself using them in their short form to carry stuff up and down stairs. Cons: The handles are short, and very difficult to put over your shoulder, if you walk a distance with them, without the trolley. Somewhat expensive.

I bought mine 6 years ago... and have never regretted it! I often get comments about them while shopping - "Those are cool!" "where did you get those?" etc And then i expand them.... Minds Blown!!! Seriously though, these have been awesome. They even have tags on them which i use as pencil holders. I also cable tied my trolley token clip to the base of the handle of the smallest bag (same side as the pencil holder ;) ) so that its always with the bags!

My only complaint is they are fiddly to tuck to the smaller size but overall they are worth the money. Good quality
