Westland Gro-Sure Perlite 10l - For Improved Aeration and Drainage

I’ve been using this perlite for around 4 years now across all of my houseplants, and it has become one of those products I keep repurchasing without even thinking twice. I use it in pretty much every soil mix: Monsteras, Philodendrons, Pothos, Calatheas, palms, cuttings, propagations, you name it, and it consistently improves drainage and aeration really well. One of the biggest differences I noticed after adding this to my mixes was how much healthier the roots stayed. My soil used to stay wet for too long sometimes, especially in larger pots, but this helps keep the mix lighter and prevents it from becoming compacted. Since using it, I’ve had far fewer issues with overwatering, soggy soil, or root problems. The quality is also very consistent compared to some cheaper perlite brands I’ve tried before. The granules are a good size, it mixes easily into soil, and a bag lasts surprisingly long unless you have a serious plant addiction like me 🌱 For the price, I honestly think it’s excellent value for money. It’s one of the cheapest upgrades you can make for healthier houseplants, especially if you make your own soil mixes. Whether you’re a beginner or really into plants, I’d definitely recommend keeping a bag of this at home. Reliable, affordable, and genuinely effective.

Perfect. Works really well. Just mix it with compost to use. Great durability. Has helped with potting up or starting seedlings. Have bought this several times.

Just the job for cuttings, repotting , seeds and seedlings. It's best to dampen it before you use it because it can be dusty and it's best to avoid that. Highly recommended.

Great addition to my chunky soil mix, has helped a lot woth drainage. Decent size for price and has lasted me a while (I'm barely half way through the bag, even after re-potting most of my plants). It is fairly dusty, however I find it not too bad if using it outside, wearing a face mask. I will definitely be buying again, highly recommend!

No complaints with the this perlite. Quantity was right for what I needed it for. No more dusty than any other bag of perlite I've had, Dust is just normal when using stuff like this. Perfect for helping drainage with plants that need extra, very easy, just mix with compost. Sure you could get it cheaper but didn't have the time to go to a garden centre.

I wish Amazon would offer a choice of smaller sizes, in everything.
