Pretty Great "Chinese" Lightsaber
This is probably the best and cheapest multi-font, RGB, motion-controlled, smooth-swing, Luke Skywalker hilt lightsaber you will find anywhere. It is heads and shoulders above the "official" Hasbro and Disney Parks sabers. Hilt - The Disney/Hasbro Luke Skywalker saber makes you remove the top half of the handle, to support the blade. Bleh. This one lets you keep the "thin" necked design with a blade slotted into it. Durability - I bashed it around with my kids who got cheaper variants of the same. It was fine. (I got an LED base saber, not a pixelstrip saber). Multi-Font means there are multiple lightsaber sound patches as different lightsabers sound subtly or dramatically different from one another. If you want the smoothness of Anakin or Luke's saber, or the crackling of Kylo Ren's unstable saber, those sound effects are in here. Do you want the unique Darksaber sound effect from Rebels and Mandalorian? That's in here too. Smooth-Swing means the lightsaber generates sound effects that are reactive in proportion to your movement. That's a fancy way of saying, "the sound reacts to movement like it does in the movies." In contrast, the Disney/Hasbro sabers have a precanned swing-sound that plays back whenever it detects movement. That sound effect does not track with your movement, resulting in a very poor experience. RGB - Change it to any color you want, and even some inbetween. You can also make it stable (solid color), pulse (subtly cycle intensification), and unstable (a mimicry of Kylo's saber, but basically interspersing a solid color with flashes of white). Effects - Hit the activation button while its own to pretend your blocking blaster bolts. Hold it down for a bit and release to get a saber clash effect. Overall, better and cheaper than Disney sabers. No complaints from me.

Let me be the first to write a review on this great Lightsaber
I have been collecting Disney Galaxy Edge Lightsabers and Hasbro Force FX Elite. I figured this RGBX base lit chrome lightsaber would be just ok light wise and I was looking for that smooth swing and sound. From what I read online people say they are just ok and NEO Pixel is the best. That may be so, I never owned one, but they look cool. Let me tell you when I turned this RGBX Lightsaber on, I was blown away. The blade lit up very uniform all the way to the tip and convincingly. I wanted one of these too cause being base lit easy enough to find a cheap blade plug. The sounds are great and loud and the smooth swing is way better than I ever imagined on a Lightsaber of this cost. You swing super slow and it works perfect. Seeing as this is the same lightsaber the neo version comes in, I’d say it’s a bargain. I think it’s time to sell my Disney sabers and buy more custom ones. The cost of them and lacking the tech isnt worth it to buy Disney ones anymore. RGB blows their led away and that’s not mentioning the swing and sounds. I’m buying another RGB before I go for a pixel saber.

Not a bad saber for the budget price.
So at the moment I am 3 of out 5 stars. Will update a bit as I own this saber 8-24-23 arrived and charging. 1. The Type C charging port is very picky about which type C cord will work. I DID NOT use the short cord provided. I have 3 type C chargers for phones etc. 2 of the 3 did not work. 1 when I plugged it in the Saber announced "Charging" 2. The craftsmanship is pretty nice. But the edges and gooves could have been deburred better. I am a CNC machinist I have a feel for acceptable and unacceptable finishes on parts. Even for a budget saber the edges and grooves could have had a better radius. Once charged I will make an update on functions. Honestly I thought the battery was defective due to my issues with the type C charger. Just know when you plug it in to charge, the Saber will announce it is charging. This Luke Skywalker hilt has no visible LED either. And the short Type C charging cord is a cable only no wall plug in is included. So mind that. 8-25-23 updated from 3 out of 5 to 4 out of 5 stars. The controls are a bit finicky but the Saber works. Just have to spend time getting use to the controls. It is a cheaper alternative to high cost sabers on the market. But it does work. I will update again if itstops working within a time frame I feel is unreasonable.

Great saber for the price
This lightsaber is a steal at this price! I was surprised at the quality and functionality of this saber.

Yes it's worth it.
For clarification, I purchased the RGBX version. Bought this saber specifically to duel with. The diameter is on the smaller side, which I prefer, and the Revan hilt just has those classic deco lines, clean and easy to handle. No boxes or weird cutouts to mess with handling. Quality was surprisingly solid. Chrome is absolutely excellent. Threads are of good tolerance, not loose or jiggly like you might find on other hilts. Chassis is solidly in place, and didn't loosen or move after the first hour of heavy dueling. It's just a little on the heavy side though. Not cumbersome or sluggish, but not whippy fast either. Still, you can move pretty fast with it. It's a tad short for dueling, so I made a mod to get it a little longer and added a tsuba. The controls are pretty sophisticated for a one- button setup. Changing colors, sounds, switching motion control *off* for fighting is super easy via the app - which I recommend getting. It's easy and fun to mess with all the controls. Colors are bright and saturated. I've been doing the saber thing the better part of ten years now, and have bought countless hilts over the years, from all the major players. This is about on par with best of them, and frankly better than more than a few of them. I'm pleasantly surprised, to say the least. If you're new to sabers and on the fence with this (or any RGBX hilt) - just go ahead and get one. I uploaded some real world pics of the hilt, stock and then with my mods for dueling. The manufacturer's photos are very accurate. *Edit: the blade included is great for spinning, but not appropriate for heavy dueling.

You can't beat it for the price!
First and most noticeably, the hilt looks AMAZING! It is very nicely finished and would look superb on your Jedi cosplay. The app is intuitive and does everything you need it to do. The preset options are pretty good. The only area where I'd say this isn't on par with SF or US is the sound. While it's not bad, it has noticeably less depth, and isn't quite accurate to the movie sabers. None of this detracts from my enjoyment, tho! For under $200 this is an A+ lightsaber!

Best purchase ever!
Months after buying, I can still say this is one of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made in my entire life, this thing feels and sounds so realistic and is so fun to mess around with. I’ve even played around with the dueling aspect with my homie and it held up perfect through even some harder hits, even made his look cheap by making the tip of his cheap little dual swords pop off! This thing is so much fun and makes me want to buy a second one someday because I heard you could put them together to make a dual saber out of any 2 sabers. The feel, look, sound, durability, its all amazing and Ill probably buy another one soon!

Horrible! Don’t Buy!
Oh boy, this is a very off brand lightsaber. It is comically skinny and disproportionate, the sounds are awful and not consistent. The color wheel is awful, even when you select red it is really pink. It constantly pairs and unpairs with the app and says that out loud the whole time it is on. I cannot express how terrible this product is. Wish I could give it 0 stars because the blade also has a defect that looks terrible when turned on.
