Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning Hot Blend, 8oz

Lovely spicy seasoning for chicken or ribs especially if you like a bit of heat! Tangy and well balanced I use it on most of my meats and am waiting for the b b q season to try it out! Lush stuff!!!

I use a heaped tablespoon of the original version of this thrown into a Jambalya along with a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and about four of those standard Thia or Birds Eye chillies from Asda or Tescoe’s. My partner and I have a portion apiece and the other five or six are frozen. This is cheaper than the original, so I just cut back on the pepper and the results were similar. It is a hot seasoning but there aren’t any super hot chilli’s in this like a Naga, Scorpion or Reaper. If your into Indian cuisine it’s in the Madras ,Vindaloo range of heat certainly not Phall, but if you are a butter chicken person and most certainly a Korma this is going to be volcanic for you so opt for the original . Finally there is quite a bit of salt in there which is noticeable when used to season chicken but not so in a pot. Overall quite useful & very flavoursome.

If you like a nice spicy kick to your food .... this is it! Works well with most foods, fish, beef, pork etc. A must for BBQs. You can use a pinch or a good sprinkle depending on your taste. Just to clear up the name of the goods, it means Slap your Mama on the back for such good seasoning. Great all round seasoning, love it 👍🏻

Bought this to try, I love it, easy to use, put meat if your choice in freezer bag, sprinkle in the spice and give bag a shake, lovely on chicken. I’ve also mixed it into mayonnaise for a nice spicy dressing.

Had the good fortune to have a pack of this bequeathed to me by an American mate when he got fired and went home. I totally love this stuff and was overjoyed to find it on Amazon. As soon as it arrived out came the chicken breasts. Sliced and rolled generously in Slap Ya Mamma and into the Frightening Pan. Nice pan of dirty rice to go with it and the best meal I've had in yonks! If you're a chilli nut like me you won't regret getting this. A nice smoky BBQey tang to it as well. Here's a suggestion: A good heaped tablespoon in a 1/2 a cup of olive oil, thoroughly mixed, then add 2 cups cheap red wine (I'm talking about American cup meeasures). Give it all a zap in a blender (or shake very vigorously in a jar) and you've made yourself a great marinade for chicken, pork, fish, king prawns or nearly anything you want to BBQ. Enjoy, brothers and sisters. Delivery was very quick and it was well packaged. Would definitely deal with this supplier again.

I love this spice blend and it's so hard to find in Germany. When the parcel got lost I was pretty disappointed. But the customer service of this seller was so helpful that we found my parcel again. Five stars!
