The book is nicely paced. You can either read through it or jump to different chapters for ideas or advice. The fact that TC Helicon are endorsing it and also commissioned it to go alongside their products shows they look at the bigger picture as you do NOT need to have their products to use the book. Its a general guide. There is something for all abilities to learn from in this book, even the more experienced vocalist will find something of use.Despite the size of the book (page-wise) there is very little 'fat' in it. All the information will be useful at various stages and abilities.They've managed to avoid being to "American" based as there are quite a lot Europeans interviewed which gives it a more balanced view.TC-H have done things in a 360 degree way. They've built and designed their own microphones, monitors, vocal fx pedals, vocal apps, tuition videos, a Kindle version of the book is available,product upgrades .... it never ends .. Now they've built their own guide to singing and paid the same attention to detail as thy do when building their other products.

When this book arrived I was amazed by its sheer size and the amount of information that is packed into it. It's easy to read yet contains stuff for both experienced singers and beginners (like myself). I've read a few books like this and would definitely recommend it over any of the others as it covers many more areas than I've seen in books before. I'm only half way through (it's a big book!) and have found loads of useful things in it that I didn't know before and hope will help me improve my singing and gigs.

EXELLENT WELL INFORMED BOOK

This book should be mandatory reading for anyone interested in a music related career. In fact it can be applied to many careers & occupations. There is plentiful useful advice about commitment, self-promotion, working with others etc. I wish it had been around years ago.

Fantastic holistic overview on singing. I am a singing teacher with many book purchases under my belt, this is the only one I have been compelled to review!

This book should have been written ten years ago! Be glad that it exists today. Dip into it, be inspired, go out and inspire others! Great.

An all-round all purpose book for vocalists - a treasure trove of singing and performance wisdoms shared by experts. Invaluable!
