Diabetes (Nursing and Health Survival Guides)

Heading into a community job after 2 years of neurosurgical nursing on a ward setting so wanted some bits to keep in the car to refer to whilst I learn the ropes. I got the wound care and diabetes books.They are smaller than I was anticipating but actually a handy size. I'd say if you have bad eyesight they would be too small. Easy to read and look things up quickly with bullet point format, and plenty of useful information ie wound book has pictures, and diabetes has names of insulin.I'll be recommending them to colleagues/any student nurses I work with.

Bought to back up student nurse placement in GP practice. Really good , easy to understand and good size to keep in pocket.

Nice book basic and simple , I just really didn’t realise it was gonna be so small but I guess it’s handy to have in my pocket

This is great for student nurses, the book is small but I didn’t really mind it as it was perfect for revising on the go for my exam. Has lots of useful information on insulin and complications of diabetes!

Very nice, pocket size guide that I can take with me on the ward. Information inside is reliable and I can find more details if I'm interested in something. I would recommend.

An excellent source of quick reference for recap and revising .Its compact size is ideal to be carried along anywhere....It is so practical with specific basic informations that are required in diabetes management.

Good little pocket book which covers diabetes from a very simple initial definition right through to current management. Ideal for a learner and for people like myself who are returning to practice after a career break.

I love this, I have a few of these little guides now, and they are all really useful and well written, allowing me to keep whichever one I choose in my tunic pocket and refer to at a moments notice. For the price I they are so worth it!
