I purchased the Tom Ford Black Orchid .05 oz promo spray vial. Love this scent, it's definitely more spicey and slighty masculine but I love it anyway! It lasts for quite a while. I sprayed it and it made me picture myself in a swanky dress waiting for the love of my life in an exotic place. The smell made my heart skip a beat and my husband had to sit down it smelled so alluring. Try the tiny sample then by the big bottle. Make strips of places to go for the night. And wrap the perfume and a tiny lingerie with a note saying CHOOSE ONE. Your bags are packed. That will be the best sample of Tom Ford Black Orchid either of you have ever gotten. Purchased this small version to help me determine if I want to purchase the full size perfume. It did just that. The smell was what I thought it would be, just like the actual perfume. This version was pricey, but worth it as a predecessor to the quality and smell of the real thing. Received the Tom Ford Black Orchid perfume as a gift based on wearing this version's scent and length of linger throughout the day.

Very disappointed in the size and the smell isn’t what I expected

I will say that it smells great and I took one star away because it does smell slightly manly like it could pass for men's cologne. I get that it's a unisex fragrance. But as a woman I want to smell like a woman. I don't want women sniffing me like they want me to take them out on a date. I want to attract men, not women. First thing my husband said when I sprayed it was "You bought that for me and the boys?" It smells funny. Well I won't agree with him that it smells funny because it doesn't at all. It smells very good but just can't figure out if it's for a man or woman and that I don't like. But I do get that the maker actually wanted it that way so mission accomplished. As for me I am just glad I only purchased the mini promo size to try.
