Third one of these I have bought. On the strength of the first one, I bought the other half one, when she upgraded her phone to a 6S recently. The leather feels nice, and the way the plastic encloses and grips the phone is good. It has been stable with no cracks, or sharp bits. What I like: - does not seem to add much bulk - protects phone from falls indoors. I think I have even dropped the phone onto a stone floor. However I would not recommend it as a test. So much depends on how the phone lands. - Protects phone in pocket... occasionally shared with keys and stuff. - Protects other half's phone in hand-bag, shared with all sorts of junk. - you can work volume by pushing soft bit of leather on the 'spine' of where the case closes. - light magnet holds case shut subtly and well, and does not interfere with compass when open (but not folded onto back of phone) - Cut-out for camera does not interfere with flash or photos, and ability to fold back the part of case to be clear of photos works well (but is a bit fiddly). What I'm not sure about: - brown case will darken with use. But hey, it's leather and will pick up grease from fingers. After two years the leather started to separate on the first case from the plastic holder. I wrote to Kavaj, asking what kind of glue I should use, as it was out of warranty. The response was: "that should not happen", and they gave me a refund. I have spent the money on another case. This time in black, so I don't get it confused with the other half's. Even though the worn-in feel of the case is good.. having a newer case, with its initial stiffness, almost feels like having a new phone. I will definitely buy again from these guys.

Overall a very nice case. I've had mine for 24 hours and initial impressions are good. Key things that standout for me: - It still feels thin. In fact it is replacing a Spigen bumper case and feels slimmer - There is no clasp or bulky tie to fold back. Also makes it look lovely and streamlined. Magnet holds it down. - Real leather - Cutouts keep the feel of the rounded iPhone 6 edge so feels much closer to using a naked phone There is only one thing missing for me with this case and that is the ability to use it as a self supporting stand. Ultimately I would recommend and buy this case again.

Nice case but overpriced. Tesco sell a leather case for 12.99 which is just as good.

I have had this for about 6 months. It still looks great - a suitably classy case for an iPhone. It hold the phone securely - actually it's a little tricky to get the phone in and out for cleaning. It is slim and light - I keep the phone in my front jeans pocket most of the time and have had no problems - I try not to have anything hard like coins or keys in the pocket at the same time. The magnetic closure is not very strong but it works well enough - coins will get inside and scratch your phone if you keep them in the same pocket (common sense really). The pockets on the back are useful if you want to take this instead of your wallet - keep a £10 note in there and use that or ApplePay. The stand is not that great - it just about works but is not very secure. But the case is slim enough to slip into a proper stand or holder without taking the phone out. Regarding durability - it looks fine considering I have pushed it in an out of my jeans for 6 months, dropped it a couple of times and even rinsed it under a running tap a few times to clean it (without the phone of course). Yes I have pulled a bit of loose material off (piping?) but you wouldn't actually notice that. The stitching is still intact.

It's a good classy looking case, and came beautifully packaged, but its not quite so robust as the equivalent I bought for my iPad, which is superb. Nevertheless this is still a good product and also provides quite a good level of protection for the odd drop. The case doesn't make the iPhone look bulky, but be prepared for the case to attract some marks and scratches - this is a natural leather product.

I purchased this case to provide more protection for my iPhone6 4.7. I had initially used a sleeve type case but you had to remove the phone to use it and it proved a slippery customer at times. My initial thoughts are that the KAVAJ Dallas case is a well made and quality product which provides the all round protection I wanted. It is constructed around what appears to be a silicon rear unit into which the iPhone snaps securely. This is leather bound on the outside and the front of the phone is protected with a leather cover which has a soft liner to care for the screen. All the phones functions are available through strategically placed slots and the cover is held closed by what appears to be a concealed magnetic strip. There are two credit card type pockets on the rear surface for those who wish use them. It feels a quality product in the hand and I will update this review to see how it wears over time. I am very pleased with it so far. Update - I have now been using this case on the iPhone6 for about 4 weeks and there has been no noticeable wear and tear, the leather is unmarked and all the stitching has stayed in place. Seems excellent quality. Further Update 26/01/15 - I am so pleased with this case. It looks as good as the day it arrived and I just cannot fault it. With obvious care the leather is unmarked (i.e. no keys in the same pocket etc), excellent product. Update 22/05/16 - Still as good as new.

I purchased this case for my iphone 6S because I had loved the Kavaj case I had for my iphone 5. This case is also nice. However, I have a serious problem. I need to replace my sim card and I cannot remove the case. I feel that I am at risk of ruining the case, or worse, damaging the phone if I try to force it off. The iphone 6s is slightly thicker than the iphone 6 and since the case was designed for the 6, it seems that it just too tight for the 6s. I have emailed Kavaj support for advice several days ago but have not received a reply.

I really expected this to be a great case. First saw my colleague using it in brown and I thought wow that looks smart, however should have asked him how long he had it for before I bought mine as new it looks good, not so good in a months time. Start with a positive, its real leather and looks really smart few people asked about it when they saw me use it. Negatives: I use my phone on dayly bases so the stiching around the case started to come out and thats not what I expected after a month of use. Disappointed. wouldn't buy again.

Da ich immer viel Wert auf Individualität gelegt habe, hatte ich bisher immer Cases von Portenzo.com (könnt Ihr Euch gern mal anschauen, sind schon sehr schick, aber auch wesentlich teurer). Für das iPhone 6 wollte ich eigentlich auch wieder was von da nehmen, hab aber erstmal nichts gefunden, was mir direkt zugesagt hat. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich durch Amazon und diverse Reviews gewühlt. Dass ich wieder ein Book-Case haben wollte war von Anfang an klar und dass es aus Leder sein sollte auch. Ein weiterer für mich wichtiger Punkt - es sollte so wenig wie möglich auftragen. Das KAVAJ "Dallas" hat sich dann schnell als einzig halbwegs geeigneter Kanditat herauskristallisiert. Ehrlich gesagt hab es es nicht wirklich aus Überzeugung gekauft sondern, weil ich schnell ein brauchbares Case wollte, um nicht so extrem behutsam mit dem Telefon umgehen zu müssen. Der 15% Gutschein, der heute (7.10.14) scheinbar auch noch gilt, hat meine Entscheidung bekräftigt. Die Lieferung hat zwar etwas gedauert (knapp 2 Wochen), aber das stand ja schon vorher auf der Amazon Seite. Ist somit auch kein Kritikpunkt. Heute Morgen lag das Case (mit welchem Lieferservice auch immer - Post, DHL, DPD, Hermes kommen nicht gegen 6 :-o ) dann im Briefkasten. Gut und sicher vepackt, dass hinterließ einen sehr guten Eindruck. Das Case selbst (ich habe die schwarze Variante gewählt) ist sehr gut verarbeitet und hält das iPhone sicher fest. Dank des mit Leder überzogenen Kunststoff-Halters sollten auch kleinere Stürze keine Spuren am Telefon hinterlassen. Die Magneten halten den Deckel ausreichend fest zu und alle Bedienelemente sind weiterhin gut zu erreichen. Telefon+Case sind weiterhin schön flach. Einfach mit dem Lineal gemessen ca. 12mm. Was ich mir letztendlich noch gewünscht hätte, wäre mehr Auswahl bei den Farben/Designs. Die zwei Kartenfächer auf der Rückseite hätte ich mir auch als Option gewünscht - ich benötige sie nicht und hätte damit nochmal etwas Höhe eingespart. Trotz allem ein schönes Case, welches kaum aufträgt, nicht weiter individuell ist, aber das iPhone zuverlässig schützt. Bleibt jetzt nur zu hoffen, dass die Haltbarkeit der optischen Qualität in nichts nachsteht und das Case lange so aussieht, wie am ersten Tag. Wer ein schmales und hochwertiges Book-Case sucht, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen, auch falls der Gutschein nicht mehr verwendbar ist. Knapp 30,-€ sind absolut in Ordnung!

Hatte die Hülle bereits gekauft bevor ich das iPhone in den Händen hielt, weil ich die gleiche Hülle bereits am iPhone 5 und am iPad Air hatte und vollauf zufrieden war. Von der Qualität her hat sich nichts geändert. Sehr wertig verarbeitet, gute Materialien. Nähte sind einwandfrei und es müssten in meinen Augen keine Klebenähte vorhanden sein, sondern ausschließlich welche mit Faden. Natürlich ist das Leder auf der Rückseite jedoch in Form geklebt worden. Im Gegensatz zu den iPhone und iPad Air Modellen hat sich die Befestigungsart geändert. Diese wird nicht mehr durch ein "reinsliden" des iPhones bewerkstelligt, sondern das iPhone wird wie in einem Case "reinheklippt". Die Aussparungen sind alle wo sie sein sollen und die Tasten sind gut erreichbar. Der Innenraum der das iPhone ist aus etwas härterem Plastik, jedoch mit einer guten Oberfläche, welches keine Kratzer oder Abdrücke hinterlassen sollte. Zudem sitzt das Iphone sehr fest darin. Es ist also nicht möglich, dass es sich aus versehen mal löst. Leider ist dadurch ein Wechsel mit etwas Kraft und gleichzeitigem Fingerspitzengefühl verbunden. Ist also nichts für Vielwechsler... Einziger Wermutstropfen ist, dass bei zurückgeklapptem Deckel dieser bauartbedingt (wegen dem iPhone 6 Design) in der Torsion etwas viel Spiel hat und sich entsprechend hin und her bewegen kann. Ist für mich aber nicht weiter störend. Eine einhändige Nutzung ist dadurch Geschmackssache und dürfte auch an der Größe der Hände eines jeden liegen. Ich kann von mir behaupten große Hände zu haben, was mir in dem Fall evtl. entgegen kommt, denn eine Einhandnutzung stellt für mich mit umgeklapptem Deckel kein Problem dar. Der Deckel an sich hat kleine Magnete verbaut, welche den Deckel bei geschlossenem Zustand gut zuhalten. In meinem Fall ist der eine leicht stärker als der andere, jedoch sind beide ausreichend stark für ihren Zweck. Die kurzen Enden des iPhones sind nicht bedeckt und bieten dementsprechend Angriffsfläche für Kratzer und Dellen im Falle eines Sturzes. Wie genau und ob überhaupt geschieht wird sich erst nach längerem Gebrauch zeigen. Die Kamera ist durch die Hülle auch mehr als ausreichend geschützt. Dadurch dass sie jetzt etwas heraussteht war das doch ein wichtiges Kriterium für mich. Alles in allem ein zu empfehlendes Produkt, dass zu diesem Preis unschlagbar ist. Zunächst hatte ich in Erwägung gezogen das originale Apple LeatherCase zu kaufen, jedoch habe ich mich letztendlich aufgrund des Preises und der Bauart ("BookCase") für diese Hülle entschieden. Hätte aber auch zum TOKYO Modell greifen können, welches im Prinzip diese Hülle ist, nur ohne Deckel. Aktuell gibt es auch noch mit einem Aktionscode von der KAVAJ-Seite 15% Nachlass hier auf Amazon... (stand: 25.09.2014).
