I know bpa is usually present in polycarbonate but this is a plastic child's toy so I can't see any reason why it would be

That’s a really strange question! I bought it for my two grandkids when they were 2 and 3 they are still playing with it and they’re now 4 and 5. It’s also very durable. Only bad thing is the stickers as they weren’t the same as shown on image.
