Duralex Gigogne Small Drinking Glass Tumblers 160ml - Clear - Pack of 6

Really happy with these Duralex Gigogne glasses. They’re good quality, feel nice and solid, and have that classic look you see everywhere. I bought them mainly for cortados and they’re the perfect size for one. They’re simple, practical and seem like they’ll stand up well to everyday use. Nothing fancy, just a really good quality glass that does exactly what you want it to. Very happy with them.

Very handy little glasses - perfect size for younger kids

....metaphorically. My local M&S was closing, and with that their café. I have developed a fondness for their Magic Coffee and wasn't sure how I'd manage without. I said as much to the barista, and he noted that they aren't actually magic and have been available in Australia for many years. I could indeed see that he wasn't wearing a cape, and there wasn't a wand behind the counter. He told me to get these 160ml Gigogne glasses (not the 220ml version), and make 2x Ristretto shots (2x 25ml), and add lightly frothed milk as close to the top as I wanted. I tend to use one pod of normal and one pod of decaf.

These are great but much smaller than I thought. I was replacing some 150ml glasses so I thought the advertised 160ml would be plenty. You will be hard pressed to get 140ml into them!

Perfect for my 87 year old mothers brandy and she dropped one and there’s not a mark on it

Nice size glasses. These are the same glasses (Duralex Gigogne 160ml) that Costa Coffee use for their Cortado coffee.

They feel nice to hold

The stated capacity is 16cl and indeed that is true but 16cl fills the glass to the very brim making it impossible to use without spilling or burning your fingers. My coffee maker dispenses a 4oz coffee which is too big for comfort and safety with this small glass.

I ordered these because a bartender used them to hold cocktail shaker leftovers when I ordered a drink. I was so impressed I asked him what they're called & he wrote the details down for me. They are the perfect size for juice, or a cup of ice cream, or shots. I love them!

This is a great little glass as when it breaks, there are no sharp edges to injure anyone. This is Duralex. Great for bathroom, great for tucking in your suitcase when traveling. If you don't like plastic cups this is the one to use. I would buy again.
