As ever did the job. No more bites.

I have been using this item a while now and have delivery every 4 months since I had my cat. This time I received the diggers they were smaller which I notice as I opened the package when using the item the press knob you push down to expel the treatment would not stay down I had to spray it around the house physically before leaving the house. Not amused I will not be buying this item again I will seek sorts somewhere else it’s not funny that you have been paying for your item and then you pay the same money for a smaller item that does not do what it supposed to. Not a happy customer.

Excellent item. Just what I wanted

I brought six fogger, I striped all the beds, sofa, removed towels and washed at +60c. Put one in each room off the house, I made sure it was in the centre, followed instructions to the letter left the house for 3-4hr returned open all doors and windows, then waited outside for 30min. There was no strong smell or residue any where but wiped table tops anyway for safe measure. Didn't kill any flea as I inspected the mattress as seen them jumping around and was bitten that night. Has to follow with using the Johnson flea guards to coat mattresses and sofa. Sum it up, the bomb used where pointless! just use the spray where you manually coat the surface yourself then vacuum daily while washing clothes at +60c if possible. I recommend Indorex Flea Spray Household Defence ( wear a safety rates face mask) it has a very strong smell and take a week for smell to go but workeds well.

Did the job

Lots of spray in the can, easy to use, and definitely works, this is probably the best brand to use. Used one every month for 2 months in combination with the same brand big can to spray hard to reach areas. Make sure to put animals in separate room when spraying for at least 2 hours, the smell goes after 1 or 2 days.

Save your money - this doesn't work, even in a confined space and certainly not in an average sized living room. The wording on the can states that it can treat a floor area up to 35 square metres - but in my tiny bathroom, which is 5m x 2m (ie - just 10 square metres), and with the door closed, this product had absolutely no effect at all on the fleas that my cat George has kindly brought home. A couple of hours after application of the fogger I walked in with bare feet and shorts and immediately had fleas jumping onto my ankles. Same result in the living room - about 5m x 6m so a bigger challenge, admittedly - here again the flea circus was totally unaffected. You could almost hear them laughing. This looks and feels like the kind of half-hearted "Bob Martin" type consumer product that you can buy from Tesco... which you know in your heart isn't really going to do the job, but you don't want to shell out at the Vet's for something proper. The 'Fogger' is small, and only in fact runs for about 20 seconds, producing a thin, nice-smelling (and there's a clue there too, I think ?!) spray that goes vertically upwards and doesn't really "Fog" or diffuse, at all. And which fleas evidently just ignore. I've always been of the opinion that proper, commercial insecticides are the only sure way to get rid of things like flea infestations... they need to look and feel a bit scary, and not smell of roses. I took a gamble on these Foggers, and proved myself right - bah :-( In the end, I invested in some "Formula 'C' Flea Spray" (available here on Amazon - just do a search) which works an absolute treat. This 1L bottle easily did my bathroom, living room and bedroom, with instant effects. They even give you free gloves and a mask, for when you're applying it - reassuringly scary, and predictably effective ! :-)
