Not too impressed with this a bit messy doesn't always write like it should

The problem is that for optimal results the dispenser must be held perpendicular to the surface which becomes a royal pain when writing on vertical surfaces, the ball does not protrude enough from the nozzle, its more of a square tip than a fine point., it get’s messy fast; the bottle has to be squeezed with quite a force, which can create an ache if using for long enough as the plastic is quite rigid.

nice marker with like a ball pen nozzle. The felt pen type markers seem to work more easily though. These might last longer ?

Super easy to use way to mark basically anything quickly and permanently. It flows faster than I was expecting so go really slow, it's basically a small squirt bottle with oil based permanent paint in it. So, it works well and fast on basically any surface, you could paint a line on a pile of leaves with this, but if you mess it up and use too much, you can make a big mess really fast, also on basically any and every surface it comes in contact with.

I'm a field journeyman ironworker and it is impractical at best

I work in a metal fabrication shop, and finding a marker that can handle greasy, rusty, or dirty steel is surprisingly difficult. I got this metal marker to help mark spots in my engine bay for some work I've been doing The bottle is about 2x1inches big, fairly small and easy to hold. It comes with a lid and the nozzle separate so that it doesn't get clogged in transit, which I appreciated. I expected it to allow me to place marks or writing fairly finely, but the tip is a bit wider than I hoped it would be. This causes any writing to be fairly blotchy. Overall it works, but I have to be careful. The liquid dries quicker than I expected but I did smear a few spots inadvertently. It looks like white tipex, so I'm tempted to try the brush white liquid kind to see if it works just as well. After it dried, it required scratching to remove, so it should last after application. Overall, it made writing on the metal easier than just scraping marking, so it fit my purpose, but I doubt the nozzle will remain moving after it dries out a few more times.
